Royal Ogres

We are now in search of new candidates.

 

May be changing this to all members who are above 1,000 posts and staying active. This means that somebody active would get it when they reach 1000 posts. Then the only ways to be removed from it would be to go inactive or to act enough to be thrown in the Pit etc.

Also, LoL or any other cards can now be won in the Event with any status.

 

Yes, we are going to be doing this from now on. 1000 posts will now officially make you a Royal Ogre.

However, going inactive for a long period of time will still make you lose it. You can then get it back by being active again like participating in the Forum Event or the Review Contest.

 

Awen becomes the first Royal Ogre to do this.

Have one or or two more that could be getting this as well after returning from long absences.

 

Nhecole becomes the second.

 

Vect has also been added.

Also, need to make something clear since this system is still very new. Unlike the other groups, stopping logging in or posting as a Royal Ogre could result in being removed from the group. This is not a set-it-and-forget-it group and never has been. Instead, it is the most active group.

That said, anybody removed could end up in one of three groups:

1. Ogre Warriors (if haven't been here over a year).
2. Ogre Veterans (over a year).
3. The Pit (extreme cases only).

 

Yes, those stopping everything after this last Event will no longer be Royal Ogres. Some may even wind up in the Pit if they spent a lot of time bugging me via PMs lol. Already did this once last week.

Hopefully, it does not come to that but that is what will happen for those that do it. It may be easier than ever to get this in group now, but that does not mean that you dont earn it by staying a valuable member of the community here.

 

Still adding new Royals.

Was also gone for a few weeks and, while nearly all did great during that time, a few Royals either vanished or stopping posting entirely. These will be removed as Royals until they return to activity. Furthermore, members with special duties like being a mod should at least notify us if they are going to miss a lot of time. If not, will remove them from being a mod and possibly take away points as well. It is a responsibility to be a mod and should be treated like one.

On to positive news, we may do something special with Royals during the AQ3D Meetup next month.

 

Ok, please note that you will be removed from the Royal Ogres if you vanish or stop all activity and just lurk without doing anything. However, you can become a Royal Ogre again by being active again.

Another perk for Royal Ogres will be the upcoming Ogre Adventures. Royal Ogres will have a better chance of fitting into the group if we hit our limit on that day.

Not sure what happened in July but having to remove a few Royals since they seemed to vanish then.

On the positive side, the current Royal Ogres are doing great.

 

Aerobous is the newest Royal Ogre.

 

Stroik is the newest Royal Ogre.

 

Wilder is finally a Royal Ogre.
