Signatures

I say any size, but if its too big you'll be asked to remove?

 

Too big and its removed is to vague, 600 x 150 should be the maximum, its a fairly large size and it allows a fair amount of freedom, even to photoshop noobs like me .

 

what i was trying to get at was i think you shouldn't limit the pictures size in signatures, but if people find it annoyingly big you'll be asked to remove it

 

nah there must be a limit if there isnt then say one person with a really long picture posts 7 times in one thread in page 1 then the page will be huge youll have to scroll for hours

 

but you could always ask to resizing or remove :?

I say we use no limits but have the trust system, you don't make signatures too big and neither will others.

If that were the case then there wouldn't really need to be a limit cause you could just turn them off if they get annoying

 

you would want to see some you dont want one guy with a huge Sig pic ruening everything.

if they were huge then nobody would want them on.

yea and large images will make lag! and my connection sucks so bad atm it will take 2 minutes to load a page

 

Hmm, I hadn't thought of that. It could be easily solved if you simply have a setting in the control panels that turns pictures in other peoples' signatures off.

do you mean post a link for the picture in a new page? well i think that kind of link would be fine... unless you ment something else

 

Well, if there is only a link to the picture, then it would require Gameogre to store the pictures somewhere, but that would require more money for storage from ogreman. So, unless everyone is forced to make a Photobucket or Imageshack account and upload their picture there as well when they make a picture signature, then I don't see how it could be possible...

 

That kinda makes me feel bad for having so many pictures on my profile
