It was a boring day I found in google the game talisman online, I hadn't played any mmorpg online before so I didn't know what it was but I was bored and it looked good I decided to download it (that was a good decision) it took some time to download but when it finished I started playing it, was strange and hard to control I took a long time to level up to level 5, as I was a noob didn't know how to get the quests and where they were, now I see how noob I was I walked around asking tamers how I could get a pet like they do most of then just ignore me or said you have got to be a tamer, I didn't know what I tamer was so I asked “what is a tamer” they just ran away and I thought is it a game? Do I have to run behind her? Do I smell or something?, I all so asked a guy how to get t points and...
he said “with money”
I said “where do I get money”
he said “in a job”
I said “how do I get a job here in the game?”
he said “with money that you get from your job and from your parents”
I said “I don't have any parents in the game”
Omg that was so noob I must have stressed that guy out, he must have thought that I was messing with him
Then I was reading people talk in would chat and I saw someone asking for appendices I didn't know what it was but he was asking for level 5 and as I was level 5 I replied, so from then one he taught me how to play and helped me in bosses but in return he asked for any gems and pet food that I have found and at the time I thought that it was cheap and I didn't need it so I give about 4 small emeralds and lots of small ruby and 1 medium emerald, so he helped me level up to level 30 then I saw people buying the gems that I give him, with all the gems that I give him I could have about 50g but I don't regret it because now I know how to play, and anyway he never log in any more I think he created a new character.
I don't play with that character fairy any more now I have created a tamer and now I know how to play, what a tamer is, and how to get pets, I am levelling up quiet fast, but anyway if you was my master and is reading this thank you for teaching me how to play and all those gems was a small price to pay for the knowledge of the game, and thank you for having the patience to explain how to get t points lol.

 

Someone once told me: Why don’t you play talisman online? It could be nice, we can play together. And then I said: Why not? Let’s see how it is going to be.

I didn’t know, but, from this moment on, I drew a important line of my life, not only about a game, but about friends, loves, and sad moments.
Yes... sad moments... and then you can ask me why? Someone can answer: because you didn’t drop anything good or decent item? And I would say: no. There is a remarkable memory about this game: a friend of mine died (not in game, in real life), I got really sad, but I continued to play and tried to forget what happened.

And, obviously, I got very happy moments, I’m a non-tp user and I got a golden weapon level 50-60, I can say that was the most important moment for me in talisman, I have a full +7 set and 2 purple parts, with a +8 weapon, yes, I’m happy of what i have got.
Items are not enough for my happiness, friends are, aren´t they? Who didn’t make any consolidated relationship? Or even a love? What would be the scenarios if you make them alone? Boring... Friends are essential.

And the most exciting thing: ADVENTURE!!! Who never got excited in the first scenario SC or RC (Snake Cave / Rattan Cave)? And more, who never got excited in the first SSS? (Seven Stars Stage), that are the most important part in talisman online, like the slogan said: teamwork to survival, talisman to victory. But there is the sad way: who didn’t die in a scenario? Wow, that’s boring, and when you come back to your friend’s spot, you die again! Oh my Godness, that is the worst thing that can happen! But let’s forget this sad thing, lets turn to the happiness again... and when you beat the last boss in a scenario? That’s really good, you feel strong and like none can beat you.

In talisman we have an objective: reach the max level and make all possible to get strong and good equipments, that is at least what people wants to get, and then... make incredibles adventures with friends and guild.
Wow, I was almost forgeting about guilds! Who don’t remember the first guild or the most remarkable guild? Well, I remember, I got happy moments there! And the guild wars? Very funny, aren’t they? But it’s bad sometimes, because you cant beat the others guild and you feel unvalued, however, what counts is the fun.

A new update is coming, new scenario, new pets, new mounts, new adventures! I can’t wait for it! Even if someone of us quit the game one day, I know that everyone will get a space on heart for the incredible adventures you had there.

To sum up: talisman is not just a game, its a life, not the real one, but one so equivalent. It contains the essence of a perfect game, like adventure, hard, friendly and addicting

 

I don't know how it happened..it was so quick...so unexpected...our tank died while tanking the Soul of Snake Demon....then my comrades also died unexpectedly and I was left alone...in front of sure death. The serpent looked at me with its cold eyes,I could read its desire to kill me with one breath it made me tremble..i could feel the screams of 100 punished souls who linger in the demon's jail of darkness who coud be my house forever if I wouldn't defeat him ...I was struck with terror and could not move. So I decided. Fight to victory or heroic death
The snake struck first,he was continually attacking me with its claws and I was continually trying to dodge.The demon immobilized me with its tail then the demon hit me piercing my armor and flesh. The smell of fresh blood agitated the beast and concentrated a ball of energy who threw at my wound burning my flesh and throwing me 5 meters back.My wound was very serious and I had to finish the battle quick or I wont escape the monster's rage.I charged my energy for a fire burst..but it was like the body was not answering...Then i realized...the monster poisoned me..my body was going numb..but ,then I gathered all my strength and summoned the fire dragon..the demon backed up..that was my last chance and with a last struggle I drank a energizing potion from my package. I recovered a part of my energy but then the snake's body splitted in 3 and approached..still it was too late to give up and i used a full-power fire barb that pierced its heart. The beast gathered all its remaining energy for a fire ball who would have been fatal but it was already too late.before it could hit me, the monster died and the ball exploded burning his dead corpse. Then I fell on the ground taking my breath and drinking some healing potions and enjoying my great thaw close victory....so I defeated the Soul of Snake Demon. The End

 

Hi everyone. I am the now single father of 6 children ages 12 to 20. Since the tragic loss of their mother 5 years ago, I have had my hands full providing all their needs. One of the biggest problems I have faced is finding entertainment for the 3 boys, that I felt was good for their development. My daughters have their friends and school clubs that they spend most their time with. the loss of their mom hasn't changed their lives as much as it has the boys. Unfortunately, because of limited time we as a group decided the 3 older boys would sacrifice their extra curricular activities to allow me the time to keep the 3 younger girls in their extra curricular clubs and groups of established freinds. As good as this was for the girls, this decision left my sons at home quite often with nothing to do but to watch television.
I then spent aome money and invested in several computers, I was hoping the boys would find the internet a source of information and entertainment. Unfortunately most of the stuff they found I deemed unfit for the way I wanted them to be entertained and of course educated. Most of the on-line games they had found were so very violent and gory that I felt continueing to play them was causeing perceptual changes to the way they were to view the gore and violence in the first place.
then I found Talisman. granted the game does have a violent nature, but the "Look" being less "perfect" to the way violence would really look is an insulation from the de-sensitizing to violence that the other more graphically perfect games are causing in general. So I let them play.
Then we discovered how the game actually works. I love this game myself as much as they do.
This is our first MMORPG. I was pleased when they started to make friends from the on line community. One of my boys was there in the car crash that took my wife and has had some difficulties dealing with not only the loss of his mother, but also with his own permanant disfiguring injuries. For 2 years He was very reclusive and antisocial whenever confronting people in social settings. In the last year , I feel that his new found ability to instantly meet people and converse with them online has somehow broken through the mental inhibitions he had created in his mind about the whole situation we are left to live in. He has even started to have freinds come over to play the game with him, because He is proud of the work he has achieved in the game. I was so happy when I saw him with other kids again.
All the things we parents hear about the way these games are so negitive is a bunch of anti-hype by the prudes of society that resist new technologies.
I feel this is one of the best things I have ever encountered and it came along right when I needed it.
thank you for making the game so fun and for not making it simply a spectacle of violence and gore

 

Every MMORPG has a little something about it that makes it unique from all the others, that’s the only way you can survive in competitive gaming. Some games have unique interfaces, beautiful environments and characters, outrageous items and quests, the most memorable holiday events, or the game perhaps just has a little bit of magic within itself. Talisman Online is one of those games that is not mindblowing, but neither does it not meet one’s expectations for what an MMORPG really is. There are those that would object to what I say- for many reasons that individuals harbor against the game and those authority figures, but they cannot say they were not emotionally and physically attached to this game as soon as they started.
I started out into Talisman like many others. I have played MMORPG’s before, and to me this would seem like another game that held no special qualities- but this was more then a game. Talisman Online is practically a culture that many breathe in! When I started I was lost, confused, and focused on lone wolf while leveling up. I had no master, I couldn’t run SC till I was level 30+, and the Assassin I created had 1400 hp at level 43. Yet, I still played on regardless of that fact and I still brought it upon myself as an individual to push through the obstacles to obtain my goal of hitting the max level. Through all of that I made many memories and many friends, along with having the time of my life to log in almost every day.
Why did I stay to this game? Why did I not leave it to grow some virtual dust on it while I tried out that one game everyone was about all the time? To be honest with you I don’t know myself, I blame the “friends†that I had here asking me not to go, I blame my family for it too. What? You always have to blame them for something. Anyways, I believe this game and it’s very unique features from talisman enhancing/merging, the graphics and looks of all the characters and mounts/pets, to all the different scenarios out there keep me, and you from playing something else. Extensive research needs to be made, but one things is always true: a game that continually gets patches can only get even better then it was before.
Besides the features of this game it has to be the little moments that are just straight up amusing. Who doesn’t get enough of those infamous characters having an argument on worldchat? Sometimes I even learn interesting insults like: “ So-and-so is a deep fried piece of s*** straight outta the devil’s a**.†Honestly I haven’t heard that before but if I heard that I’d probably laugh more then feel insulted. Besides the numerous amounts of noobs that make your day through arguing, and persistently offering 5g for a +9 mount, you have your glitches. The first glitch that had me do a double-take was facing the Fox boss in SFC, I wasn’t exactly expecting it to be vertical and standing on it’s hind legs, that looked so funny I almost ran to it on accident! Oh, the great times, especially after finding out that you can ride your mounts through that area and have the same effect happen! Besides that glitch there was the HH fat glitch, where the mobs in there take up the whole screen. I’m dead serious, it’s ridiculous, but it can be cured by a simple re-team. It’s still outrageous though, and beyond that are still many more glitches that I haven’t mentioned, please don’t fix these- they’re here to make us laugh!
Sorry hold on please. “Yeah? Uh-huh? No way! A gold!? Really? Pfft he doesn’t deserve it! Yeah what a noob guild, anyways gotta go talk to you later bro. No you’re the bomb! Haha, alright see you around.†Sorry about, was just talking to one of the many friends I made on Talisman, except this one is an actual friend I have in real life. Almost more then anything else, a game is measured on it’s community. Surely enough through the thicket of non-english spam and jerks you can find individuals of both genders that a conversation 2 hours long can pass in 5 minutes between the both of you. This is what makes things special more then anything else, and I can wholeheartedly swear upon my +10 daggers that the people of this community are truly special. Some have a warm place in my heart, and others I think need their asses kicked- but they’re still special anyway.
You have no choice but to believe what I said. Your opinion is obsolete, my knowledge in undeniable. Whoops, wrong essay. The point is through the headaches and the flares of fits one may have about this game, through the unrelenting boredom and painfully rhetoric grinding, this game worms its way into your computer and stays there. People have played this game for years now, and I will be one of them. I say that with a satisfied smile on my face, for Talisman Online is more then just a game. It’s an MMORPG.

 

I began my journey in talisman in the year 2008, just one year after the grand opening of talisman online. I started with a fairy in greenscarpe. All the special items and features are all new to me, all very interesting and fun. As time passes, I gain more experience and friends and the game became more interesting and fun. The levels are harder and harder to complete, but each level opens up a new doorway of opportunity. You'll never know what awaits you around the very next corner. Talisman Online has granted us with superb graphics and gameplay, making it more enjoyable for everyone. In my point of view, no other MMPORGH game is better than Talisman. Even though it only contains 5 different proffessions to choose from and only a few skills for each character. I still love talisman because, simple is everything. The more simple the concept is, the better... Other games have loads of skills and character selection and make your head spin!! Not knowing what to choose or become, the game will of course loose many of its players. In talisman, friends are an important aspect of the whole game as like all other MMPORGH game, the whole point of it is to make new friends. There is no point to play alone in your own very world with no one but you and your computer. Talisman had maximised the possibility of friends that you could have. You could make new friends through your guild, people you know, events, teams etc. The possibility is endless!! The Talisman Online Operation Team have always put us, talisman online players first. They had granted us weekly events which would make the game even more fun to play! And don't forget the weekly guild war in blood palace! The team had also continiously offered us many varieties of attractive items such as gems, armour, weapons, pets, and mounts. The pets and mounts are constantly updated with new arrivals every few patch or so. The armour are designed to the tiniest detail, making it very attractive.
The overall enhanced gameplay of talisman will never match up with any other online MMPORGH game.
Oh, I forgot to mention the scenarios in the game. Many wonderful and exciting scenarios that only exists in talisman online. Enchanced landscapes and deadly bosses awaits us all in the scenarios of talisman. From Snake Cave to Seven Stars Stage... the experience is ever lasting and great.
Other online games only have quests for the players to do. Some don't even have any!! People just grind their way through. But talisman had unlocked a new way, through scenarios!!!
During the start of 2009, I gave up talisman for about 8 months or so due to other factors that limit my free time... I thought that I would never play talisman ever again, it had greatly saddened my heart. But now, I'm back!! I will not leave talisman because of its fantastic everlasting gameplay!! You can take me out of talisman but you can never take talisman out of me.

 

My essay is nothing special or imaginative as alot of these are. But I figured I would tell my story as to how I started playing TO.

A while back I used to play FlyFF (fly for fun) with my best friend that I went to school with. After a while we got my boyfriend into playing also. We made some awesome friends on that game to. Now my friend would have loved TO. She was very much into games like TO. And my friend was the type that if you needed something she would be more than happy to help you. To say the least I loved her very much, she was the sister I never had. Now you all maybe wondering 2 things 1.) Why am I talking about another game when this is suppose to be about TO and 2.) Why am I talking about my friend in the past tense or atleast that the way its sounds. Well I can’t answer 1 just yet but number 2 is because about a year ago my friend passed away from a heart condition. It was very sudden and Very upsetting. To have someone who would literally give the shirt off their backs if you needed it pass away like that it was just well heart breaking. After that I couldn’t play flyff anymore, it just wasn’t the same. I was pretty devastated, so playing that game in all honesty reminded me too much of her and I had to stop playing.

So a year passed and I tried to play other games, like Rappelz or Chaos things like that. But nothing held an interest to me for very long. (Now I will explain number 1) Then my boyfriends aunts husband told me and my boyfriend about a game called Talisman. Well at first I didn’t really want to try it. I mean other games really didn’t interest me so why would this one and plus it just wasn’t the same anymore with out my friend there to try this game with me. But then I saw my boyfriends aunt playing the game. I got curious and a little excited because at the time you could still get Lavander tigers and I have a big love for white tigers. (they look more white than lavander to me). So I said what the heck, and I gave this game a try. And I fell in love with it. The game play was awesom, the quests not to hard to start out with. And some of the places you can go just looked great. There is a waterfall that my boyfriend showed me that just well almost took my breath away. Plus being able to ride a tiger was a big plus also. And this game helped me forget even just for a little while that my friend was gone. To sound kind of corney it helped me move on and instead of being sad and moody all the time I was actually having some fun. I have met some great people on here and I have met some people who are just plain greedy, but you’ll have that. After watching me play for a while my boyfriend decided to start playing and got addicted and now he has a lvl 66 sin, while my highest character is a 39. And to think I started playing before him. lol

Now that I am working a job were I work swing shifts all the time I don’t play as much as I like. But I always try to make a little time to come on Talisman and chat with my friends, or make magicstones, or try to lvl so I can make higher lvl magicstones things like that. I have a few characters and i try to play with them all. Its not easy though. and after a while it can get a bit boring but I haven’t gave up on talisman and I definitly can’t wait to see what this game is going to come out with next.

 

Talisman Online is my first and favorite MMORPG, here I'd like to take this chance to share my TO story with all of you.




Back to 2007. 12, I almost knew nothing about MMORPG and I didn't think that games are worthy of my time. One day in December, when I was surfing the internet randomly, my eyeballs were caught by a new MMORPG called "Talisman Online". Its beautiful landscape, characteristics and small client attracted me alot. Then, I decided to download this game to have a try. Thus, my adventure in Talisman Online started!

I have played all of the 5 classes, but here I just wanna share my Fairy (LD) and Tamer (SW) story with you.




My Fairy:


My first character is Fairy (because she looks beautiful ). With not much knowledge about online game, I was totally a noob at first. I just did quests according to the introduction of "Quest Interface" and used the skills by pressing the shortkeys... When I reached level 5, I have met some warm-hearted friends, from whom I learned how to enhance my Talisman and merge them. I must tell you that there are so many kind players in this game! They never hesitated to share their TO knowledge and would be very glad to help newbies!!

After having exploring all maps in this game, I was quite familiar about TO and loved it so much. I never forgot my first exploration in Snake Cave. The last BOSS was so powerful that kept us from the last victory again and again ( it also appeared in my dream that night lol ). Two days later, I went to SC again with partners, and we succeed to defeat it finally! This adventure told us the importance of Team Spirit and being confident when you meet difficulties.

Being one Fairy, one of my happiness is to heal others. I always healed someone I never met before on my way and was glad to receive their thankful words.

Although it takes a longer time for a Fairy who perfers fighting alone to level up, she can also pursue great achievements by her merits and healing advantages.


My Tamer:


After the arrival of the 2nd server "Sky around Water", I decided to go there and try a new class. So my Tamer - RedDevil was born

It's quicker to attack mobs for a Tamer, so I leveled up fast from the beginning. Several days later, I had two loyal friends as my company - Grey Devil and Green Devil. Grey Devil was one little pet (rabbit), which was got from the Easter events last year. Green Devil was the Tamer Pet I captured, it's a green snake. I like to go around with both of them, and I was always told that we looked like "Devil Family". lol

Now I am a member of "Leaping Frogs". I was invited to this guild by one of my friend several months ago when the guild was level 7. After joining it, I go to HH more frequently to do guild quest and accumulate contribution value. And my presbyters and other leader always offer help us in caves.

My best memory comes from my loot of a Golden Amulet. One day, I stayed in the Ghost Din Woods to do reputation quests by myself. After killing one mob (sorry I forget its name), I went to pick up drops as usual. To my surprise, there were two items and copper for me! One was an Amulet, and the other was a Blue Identify Gem. When I moved my mouse to the Amulet, I couldn't believe my eyes - this is a Golden Amulet (lvl 49)!!! My first reaction was to check the world chat channel, and I found that the rumor has showed my loot info. I took one screen shot immediately to record this happy moment.

For several months I have been busy with my work, so I have less time to log in game. My tamer remains level 55 now T-T. But it doesn't matter, my goal is not quick levelup, I just wanna gain happiness from this game.

 

I saw this game from one of my friends and he asked me to try it before talisman was still a beta version so i created a sin before we can talk to gm’s and ask them for something those times where really great .before i find talisman online kinda weird cause like potions you cant use them while fighting unlike other games and about enhancing stuffs its kinda new to me by that time but i get used to it cause its fun playing this specially with friends cause we do stuffs together. until by the time we found new game yah we left talisman for awhile but as the game goes on its getting boring and doing same stuff and went back on talisman again and by that time we went back things are different i remember the hardest cave by that time was HH only few people can go to LW and large gems are easy to drop but no one likes arge before and the best mount was lavander tiger. i met my frends like im like lvl 19 when i joined my guild and that was my 1st guild and it was so fun we are so happy in commenting in some stupid stuffs we are like 20+ before until 1 by 1 people are quitting until 7 of us left there are times that i felt like im the only one left in the guild coz others is not as much active as before but its ok i know they will come back someday. in this game i also meet my girlfriend shes very lovely and thats why i see hopes in the game even though some not so good things happen. i am lvl 66 now trying my best to help other people and still exploring new things cause i know i still need to be better and learn new things so if my friends did come back ill tell them new stuff and we do things like old days... i enjoyed playing this game and didnt realize its been 2 very exciting years had passed so much ups and downs but as we know its all part of the game so lets enjoy it. thank you talisman online.

a year ago when i created my wiz which is my main now i was so confused on what to do on where will i put my energy cause i would like to make all weapon up to my level but its hard so i focused on my sword 1st then and at 1st i didnt know that i can only get 25 points to my weapon so i was thinking a lot of things on what will i put points 1st
its good that i made the right skills. raising a wizard is not that hard because i cant fight mobs even they are 2 levels higher than me, so i find it easier to level up. its been quite awhile when i get good gears thanks from my friend eli help me get gears and stuff and before i spent most of my time doing group arena when it is still unlimited and gives you large amount of experience, but the problem is i cant get stuff and gold because of GA. so what i did is the few gold i got is a made business buy and sell stuffs to raise some gold and buy gears. the hard part is when i reach lvl 50 i need to use green weapon cause i save my blue bead for lvl 60- 70 sword cause theres no way i can get it from mob, so thats what i did save the bead. then when im about to reach lvl 60 i was so excited cause i can get a blue weapon at last but the thing is the bead failed so it crushed my mood and im so frustrated by that time, so what i did is i used all my reserve gems to ups it cause i never thought i can get a blue sword i was so noob i used 15 med emerald and all failed!! think how lucky i am by that time..but its not that bad for me i pick my self up and save some gold then i got a chance to earn some i bought the 1st blue sword that i saw. then i finally get my sword and as well nka kita ako ng blue blade enhanced already to lvl 63 so i bought it too. and finally after that i reached the cap lvl and im ranked 3 the hard part in being on rank is you still got something to lose and need to use jackstraw to keep your rank, also you cant do some strategies that you need to die coz you will lose something and go down to rank i think i spent more than 200g just for jackstraw but in the end got no choice but to let my exp go down same as my rank cause i need to get some more stuff and then i realize i spent those 200g for nothing heheh.

i also like this part of the game which you will raise your own apprentice right now i have 20 apprentice and most of them are high level’s now im happy that i have been a part of there success in reaching high level i saw them from the begginning of there career in playing and i helped them build there characters, and the best part there is we are not treating each other like master and apprentice but best of friends that willing to help each other out. and by doing that we gain some kind of friendship. and also there is a nice rewards that can help you motivate to raise more apprentices which encourage people to make more characters

the only sad part of this game is when you cant buy TP because no matter how hard other people try to grind to have good stuff is its only just like 1 click to those TP users and also only those how can buy a lot of TP always got good drops from mobs and even they do illegal thing GM’s are havig 2nd thoughts of giving them punishment specially get them banned maybe cause they bought a lot of TP which the business needs for a player but sill its part of the game so we better look for the brighter side. the game is there for us and the tp users keep the game alive so its ok

before,i also played several online game but i found this game very unique tand different and this is the 1st game i plyed international, and its been great coz it helps people to make frends with other plyers in different side of the world and learn somethings about there country and about them selves as well. and also this game was being played but not only kids but also by adults coz the game is good in instructions very easy to understand so even adult players can play it or even very young. it helps people to be free from the stress that they are having and be another person inside the game and i think thats why even we spend some cash here its still worth it cause its a good game and everyone does there job well ^^

 

i guess my first contact to the game was like 1 year and 10 months ago.I can say I’ve seen everything this game had and has to offer.I played a lot of games before...but this kept me playing...didn’t got bored even once.First I didn’t knew what was the game all about , was hard to understand athat moment.But in like 1 month I was knowing everything about it.Because the Help and the majority of people playing the game are nice enough to tell u what u need to know.TO became a way of life, I might say ,for me...I met a lot of people, made connections with a lot of nice people around the world in a way I didn’t think I would.I made some real-life friends , visiting cities to meet them...I found myself a girl that I like, and we’re still together.She’s from like 30 mins from me and I met her in game.So I really can say the game changed my life.By the time ...the game kept evolving and I’m proud to be a part of what managed to become today.And I don’t think I’m wrong if I say that what would come will be even more exiciting and enjoyable.I made all kinds of characters cos I didn’t wanted to say " that character is the best, the rest are not".I don’t think that even now after I tryed them all.Even tho I like fairy the most because is the most helpfull and very good in PVP which I like a lot, I don’t deconsider the rest of the chars.I started with one friend...he is playing even now and I showed the game to a lot of my real-life friends who play it today.None of them quit yet.When we go out for a walk we talk about what we did inside the game, about who we met, our goals and stuff.I am glad more and more new things like the new scenarios and new pets,mounts are appearing.And without doubt , more will come by time.I am now in the guild that has the castle...and I’ve been there from a long time...we are trully a familly.I like seeing an old player logging in.It trully wakes nice feelings inside when u think " hey I did my first FP with that guy" or " hey man, do u remember our opponent from one year ago?" .I will keep playing it cos I wanna see how the game evolves...and of course for FUN and friends

 

When i logged into the game for my first time i selected to be a Monk.
When i was recruited in Green Scarp, I had only a Black Wood Shovel lvl 1 and a pack of healing potions. I havent really knew what am suposed to do there, But there was two brothers named Buddhist novice Ming and Budhist Novice Shan who gave me my first quest ( to exterminate some wild bores and get rabbit knockle from them) . Than when i reached lvl 5 i was sent to Sky village by Iron Arms Lee. It was a whole new world out there with some really new quests and monsters. there was a NPC named reputation merchant that would give me some nice blue items if i get reputattion lvls. Than i did that quest a couple of times and got 3 lvls from it , Than i bought my first armor , it was real nice and it gave me some nice protection. Than i got a quest to go to cloud mountain and help a Wounded Panda. But a friend of mine told me to go to sand village first and thats what i did. There i got lvl 15 and i still had my Black wood shovel but lvl 10 enchanted.Than i noticed there were other Monks but with a staff instead of a shovel. Than i got a Master and he told me that i better get staff lvl 10 and enchante it to lvl 15 , and thats what i did and it was kinda easyer to fight mobs with staff than with shovel.When i went to the Wounded panda he gave me a quest and a reward was a little panda pet. it gave me a few more health points but it wasnt really something special .Than on lvl 20 i got in mail a blue staff lvl 20 from System and went my first scenario with my master , The Snake Cave (SC), i got 2 more lvls from it and went to tiger mountain to do another scenario called Rattan Cave (RC).After i finished it i went to Stone City , there i encountered some really expirienced players that had shining armors and armguards ( some of them even had Sparkles all over them) and i had only a blue armor +3 that was kinda weak for those guys.
there wasnt really many quests but after that i was sent to mercy temple and to my third scenario , The Happiness Hall (HH), it was the most visited scenario in the game cuz it had many bosses that gived good drops. On 25 lvl I got my first Mount a Divine Tiger ( but it took 5 seconds to get on it omggg) .I even Bought a Golden Monkey pet who was really better than the panda pet. When i finished that i went to Laurel Wonderland (LW) in Laurel Mountain. And our tanker gave me the rumor for the last boss the Poison Dragon General, i was amazed cuz on World chat some dudes GZZZed to me. When i finished Snow village i went to Whorl Mountain and it was empty there i rarely found another player doing the same q as i was. Than on the edge of the World was hidden another scenario the Fantasy Palace (FP) and that is the only place whan i was in team with some 66 lvl PROs . They had +7 +8 +9 and +10 gear and some cool Mounts. After that i went with my master to Vast Mountain to do the rep quest for 50 lvl Staff ,The Demon Kiliing Staff. And that White bear reputation was the most boring thing in the game it took me ages to finish it. But when i got my demon kiling staff i only could get it to +3 and it didnt really make good dmg to mobs. Than after i finished Bewitcher Cave (BC) i went to Dais Field. And when i just thinked the reps are over another showed up, and it was for 60 lvl Staff , The Brahma Staff. But this reputation was actually really interesting cuz you had multiple destination to take the rep q and each one of them you could do 3x a day and still get same reward. When i got lvl 60 i went to Seven Stars Stage (SSS) but because of our fairys that was AFK we couldnt kill the Twins and even now i never finished that Scenario. Than i made my Buddha vigor armor +6 from 8 miserable fails while the rest of my gear is still +3 . Than i finally got my Staff and merged it with mine. After that i had the bigest luck to make it +6 from the very first times with 0 fails . Than i was sent somewhere unknown from the Stone City , The Moon Dragon Village, that had a new scenario named Silver Fox Cave (SFC), but i never was in there. Those mobs in Simen Mountain was The most hardest thing i ever fought before, they were atleast 3 times harder to kill than a normal mob. And the bosses were really to hard . Exspecially the lion captain that i had to find some +10 guys to help me with it cuz it was that hard. When i finished all the q in there i was 66 lvl and it was realy fast lvling up there, than the only ocupation the whole day was pb 3x drop q and the daily GQ in HH that i was doing for my Guild to raise the prosperity......

 

HI all i have been playing this game for well almost two years now. I started in Nov ’07 when LiD was the ONLY server. I remember think wow if icould only get to lvl 30 i want to start a guild. So my mission began to start a guild... when i hit 30 i made a guild and well this being only my 2nd rpg game i have played i was not what u say the best guild leader. BUT i met some very good friend via my first guild Zinny i love you. and Apollo i love you too...i remember me and apollo on his char from LiD hanging out outside hh not being able to find a team we just ran around pretending to "hump" everyone.. it was fun an i laughed so hard that night... As i moved on there were friend i made that came and quit such as Dragonslight. and Acewing, D12, RandytheSlayer, to name a few good friend come and gone.

Then after having my guild for a few months and kind of failing at it i moved to Explosionz, run by Prototype2 BTW p2 i love you too! i was an officer in that guild for a few months then moved to FinalUnion with D12 and RandytheSlayer.... i was promoted to officer there... and within a few month randy and D12 had quit "cry" and i inherited FU at lvl 5 well i was a bit more experienced this time around at running a guild... FU had its ups and downs and in the end i gave up on LiD because i had grown to know and like so many differnt people but they always fought...i was always in the middle. now mariolino runs FU and i have my guild on GT ToplessCafe, we are a group of people wo try to have fun and enjoy the game not make it miserable for other people.. hence our name.. we are not intmidating >.< This time around i know what kind of people i want to play with and have made some great new friends as well as old friends who moved with me.. kinky i love you Dis i love you Male i love u too mama... purple... and the list goes on...

So what i am trying to say as much as some of the people frustrate me and as much as people piss and moan about patches and what not this really is a wonderful game. I have made some great friends and i am sure i will make plenty more friends. with plenty of memories such as myself and uberpwner00769 spending hours and hours when sss was new trying to make it through only to end at the twins......going through ssc and getting so mad at that damn spider for killing everyone...i remember the first time through fp it took 2 hours lol.. and so on ...

 

The essay I am writing is about the advantages of playing Talisman Online, which is a MMORPG also known as Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game which is one of those games that had made many gamers like me to lose sleep over. It provides the player with another world. In there, there are no boundaries. They can be whoever they want to be and accomplish the things that in real life, they may never ever do. Behind the screen, over the net, no one knows who you are.

Stress Reliever

For busy people, be it a student or anyone working, gaming could be one of the stress reliever out there. Game acts as an outlet to release tension due to stress all day. It’s really an easy way to have fun at the comfort of your home. You don’t have to pay for a massage or a sauna bath to remove your stress. This tricks works for me, I have a nice chat with my friends in my friend list or I just PK a random person in my foe list to get revenge on someone so it could make me feel a whole lot better.

Meet lots of People

When playing MMORPG, you will be offered a place where you can meet lots of people, even people around the world. The best thing in an online game is that you meet different people and in a little while, become your friends. That’s actually the design of an MMORPG which is to have a world where everyone can interact, I met lots of people with different attitudes and personalities. I made fun of every single one of my friends

Tests your Mind

In the real world, you are given lots of goals and targets that pushes you to reach for your limit. Playing games is one good way to test your own limits. You need to reach the top level? You need to have the best weapons or armors? Having accomplished these goals will give you a sense of achievement and you will feel that you can also do that in real life. Just make sure you won’t cheat in game as you might also think to cheat your way in real life, so that is why u should never use bot or scam people.




For Fun

Playing games is one of the best boredom remover nowadays. Bored to death the solution is to just play your favourite game and now boredom is just like a thing of the past! Sometimes we we’re having so much fun that we forgot that we only play for fun. Just make sure that you stay on your plan which is to have fun but not to be too much addicted but I am addicted to Talisman Online

Develop your English grammar

Development of grammar may depend on what game you play, Talisman online is an international MMORPG online game. While talking to an English community, you will be forced to speak only in English and you will surely learn a thing or two about your grammar. Just make sure that you "do" participate in community chatting, otherwise, you’ll just end up grammatically incorrect for the rest of your gaming life like for example, some of the Brazilian players in Talisman Online. I do hope the non-English speaking players can at least learn simple English so that they could actually communicate with English speakers.

Develop Leadership and Management

Well, this is related to one of my articles on how to become a good guild leader. In handling guilds, it allows you to develop your leadership when playing. Managing the guild will develop your management skills. Although I am not a guild leader myself, I think the task as a guild leader is hard work as you need to assign who can be trusted to be a Presbyter or else u might get your whole Guild Warehouse emptied, or who to trust in the guild.

 

12 ATTEMPTS AT THE BC CAVE IN TALISMAN ONLINE

I was at level 55 and had never done before BC I had no guild and did not like very well. My only option was time to be asking the world to see if someone had the courage to do with me or help me to do.

1. My first attempt was with 2 fairy 2 tamer and oddly enough I tanking I found strange but anyway we had never gone no cost to try. I had already tanked FP, but BC was just a challenge. So we started to enter the basement the first mobs were easy but nobody knew the right way forward, not knowing we spent the first boss and we followed the way we were killing all the mobs but when we all die on the bridge, logo guy everyone was pissed off, start saying that the team was weak. The tamers put the blame on me, and the fairies put the blame on tamers, and I put the blame on everyone and every fight and left the basement.

2. Once we left the cave called the 2 fairies to stay but only 1 was with me, I asked for time in the world and assemble a new team again, but again the same thing happened, no one knew the direction and all die and then face the guys on the team decided to leave.

3. We again just me and the fairy, but assembled a team with 1 monk, 2 fairies, 1 wizard and I, the monk had said he had already tanked it was easy for him, and again all die, discover that he too had never entered in the basement and just wanted to finish it too, get angry and give up that day.

4. The next day so I went first thing was to ask the team to the basement, right away I got a strong guy tanking for me until I was happy, but happiness is short so that the team was complete and when we just get into the basement he had to leave, so all told that without it would finish the basement so we had to leave.

5. I have not lost hopes and tried again formed a good team and got a strong monk who had gone feeds into the basement, it took us the first boss I just went to discover this day, at first it seemed that everything was going well he 8000 was about life and seemed to be realizing, until suddenly he shouted runs, did not know why but run away when I tava everyone dead, the boss had killed everyone and I got lucky, but we do not give up again began to kill the boss and this time he asked me to help attacking as well, and I sin but another attack with him. We tried to attack and he left the boss with the red life but could not stand the critics who gave the boss and die 5 times there, no one died like that and left.

6. A few hours passed I was tired of trying to end BC and began to do my quests, but I saw someone else's time asking the world to BC, I asked them time, was another monk who would be tanking but that seemed stronger than the previous one the same thing happened, the boss was with the red life but did not die, then the *** monk took me out of the team and managed to kill the boss, but also failed to make the entire basement.

7. A week later I went back to ask for time to BC, a friend of mine in the game had talked to me that another friend of his could tanking, his friend rode a good time and called me, this time we finally managed to kill the first boss, but as I I am unlucky I forgot to take my quest, I had taken her to get another and forgot to take it again, the time was I just did not want to kill again. So my option was to continue anyway we went to the second boss and killed him too, but when we were going for the third time 2 fairies came out, was a friend of the other and because of the wizard who was cursing a fairy came out of the two time the guy who was pissed off tanking and still gave the pk wiz hehe and again I have not finished the basement.

8. Now at least I knew what was the first boss and I had to do but or less, got another team after a 2 days and this time got all the quest, kill the boss first and second, we were going to third when I took DC, I swore a lot, my PC take long to connect the game and the team did not expect me replaced and I could not finish.

9. I after many attempts had been at level 59 and yet to finish the whole basement full of quest and no one to help me, my own girlfriend had ended and he was laughing at me in 2 form a team and call some people in the world have reached a level 60 monk, he tanko to the second boss and then got through and went to the skeleton, had already arrived in the skeleton when he reminded the boss that he had left behind, then everyone came back to kill another boss, That’s what he came a fairy came and left another in its place, the tamer the team went out and came sin in one place and by chance the monk had to leave and another guy came in place only the other was doing was stupid and cute and killed everyone one 2 times, then my girlfriend and I went out and give up BC.

10. I was already level 60 and had not finished the basement and tried again only to come second, I was working the second I knew all the tricks, but an unlucky third in reach, but luckily managed to convince some friends to do the basement with me and this time I would really tanking, I bought several Phills and fairies bought many pots, it was a struggle past the first boss, but can I also get so because he had three fairies come in second and even this was needed phill easy, we got to the third was a little boring but I managed to kill, it seemed that everything was going well but when you reach the room so we started to kill me when he turned into mushroom **** I said, I started to run and kill everyone. Then everybody said it was continuing to run and kill, but when my boss turned and phill just can not kill the fairy was afraid of the boss and runs away and give me buff, it was very difficult and as not always finish everything.

11. After all these attempts I stopped playing not to get tired, I stopped for a few months and when I returned the first thing was to try to end BC, I upei to level 63, and I was tanking, this time everything seems to go right, kill the first the second, the third to the skeleton but I’d never been on the top, we started to kill I’ve ever had away with his life and he fell, and when I looked at it everyone was running did not understand anything, I was back boss and kill me, the fairies came to life and I try again I started to attack the boss and he threw fire, the fairy who was on the team was the first time that her boss and also when she saw that her life when she had this thought going to die and ran away, and we all die, I could only say ****, another fairy on the team pressed ok and went back to relive but when she returned was missing about 10 seconds for me and I ended up back at the beginning, I tried to go back alone but died on the bridge, the fairy came to help me just a mob that killed her hehe, she was so pissed and left the team, we still try to put a fairy but the team but nobody wanted to help.

12. And now finally after 12 attempts I finally going to get, some 3 days later I joined a guild called for help for some friends and two fairies and strong but a wizard tanking and I can finish the basement and still was a blue item but as I am lucky 1 point and I talked ****, but at least finally finished the basement !!

 

Talisman Online is not only about war, patches, farming and stuff like that... it’s about making friends and having fun in this community.
My TO experience has seen almost all corners of the game . As a guild leader , I’ve participated at almost all wars of Earth and Seas until now , we won ... we lost , we tried winning again ..and so on; it was all about having fun , and about testing our strategies . As a fairy (my class) i tried helping the ones that needed me ...especially when server started when fairys were hard to find even for RC,SC and HH ; by the way...in all this time i came to realise that the fairy is not such a weak class as everyone thinks , fairy is in fact a good dueler , a good support and even a good solo’er . As a nonTP player , i’ve came to discover the fun of farming and working hard to earn some gold ...and then ,of course, use it all to fail on your equip. But yeah...that’s the fun in it, you can always work another week to fail again ...that’s how after about 1 and a half year of playing , i’ve managed to get a decent gear ( full +7 purple suit and a +8 weapon) , even though i had only 5 gold drops all this time (4 lvl 30-50 cheap items and a golden lvl 50-60 shovel ) ... and even if these awsome drops were limited i can still remember the excitement of seeing the rumor with a golden item in it. As a TO player i managed to find some really nice people in all the time spent in waiting for a drop or for a patch, people that i’ll probably remember a long time from now on. As a ES player i’ve managed to see all the big events that happened here....i’m proud to say that i’m one of the few players left that played from day One of this server , and that in all this time i’ve came across happy and sad moments ,moments that won’t be erased that easily from our minds....moments such as: meeting a new friend, finding a loyal guild member (one that will always be your friend) , defeating a world boss, winning a war, managing to finish a new and hard cave , but also moments like loosing friends, seeing them quit the game , geting kicked out from an alliance, seeing broken ralationships, loosing a war and other things like that.

 

When my friends at school started playing TalismanOnline, I thought that it was just another boring game like DragonFable and AdventureQuest.

However, when I questioned them about TalismanOnline, they said that it was ’entertaining’, ’cool graphics’ and had ’a really great storyline’. Back then I still played games like RuneScape, Atlantica Online and Maple Story. I used to say, ’what’s so good about Talisman anyway? Come on, let’s just play RuneScape or Maple Story!’, but they would say ’sorry, I’ll be on TalismanOnline’. So, much out of curiosity and the burning desire to play with my friends online again, I downloaded the installation file and started playing.

I see now that I was really biased in the decision to criticise a game without even playing it first-hand. The graphics were like WoW (World of Warcraft) and the gameplay was still enough like RuneScape to enjoy. But it was the feeling of being included in the MMORPG’s again that really fueled my desire to continue playing Talisman. Picking a job is a hard job. Being a specific job is somewhat important for a team tackling scenarios or training on mobs. As my friends needed a high-damge attacker, I could be a Wizard or Assassin. I always liked Harry Potter, so I chose to be a Wizard. I think that every job in TalismanOnline is important as it is the TEAMWORK that counts and not personal gain. Well, maybe anyway. Leveling up has a specific purpose for me. I can level up and have a specific Defense Talisman or Attack Talisman to wield so I can wear a specially bought Battle Robe I was saving up for the moment. Leveling up also helps my friends in scenarios and quests. It is the thought that counts.

I went on with my adventures in TalismanOnline and chatted with my friends as if we were back at school again. Better yet, we can go exploring in the West Land and do stuff that we cannot do in real life and enjoy it e.g. shoot fire out of flying swords and create a ice cage to hold your opponent.

Now we move on to my other half of my personal experience with TalismanOnline. When my friends first started playing and I was being the Devil’s Advocate, the TalismanOnline Fairy was still there. So having went on TalismanOnline so late, I missed out on the wonderful opportunity of owning a TO Egg. It just goes to show that ’first come, first serve’ saying isn’t merely just for show. Joining late has only cons as, naturally being the lowest level I can, I cannot go to where my friends, who each have high-level characters, train and so miss out on grand opportunities to train with them in a team. However I caught up quickly and joined them soon enough, going to my first scenario, marveling at the speed they killed stuff and their efficiency in finishing.

As I progressed through my levels, I slowly and gradually lost my friends to another game, Maple Story, but the desire to play Maple Story isn’t enough to overcome my passion for Talisman. It just goes to show that first impressions change over time and even though my best best friend stopped playing Talisman, I still wanted to play simply because I love the land that makes up the game. I have made new friends on TalismanOnline, who are very nice and do scenarios whenever they (or I) can do them (although I sometimes disconnect halfway because of network problems or dinner). Some people made me a friend simply because I helped them in quests and/or saved them from mobs who were killing them. I think TalismanOnline has become part of my life now and, because some of my friends started Talisman because I recommended it, I will have many happy days on TalismanOnline yet

 

This mmorpg game has been the best one that i have ever played and i hope it continues for a very long time. Talisman has let me make tons of new friends from places around the world that i didnt even know about, and i even learned some parts of a foriegn language, such as brazilian from just interacting with different players throughout the whole game. There were so many unforgettable expieriances that i’ve been through on here, and one of them is just plainly having fun and getting to know other people. At first my brother had started playing this game and i didnt know what it was that got him so adicted to it that he couldn’t take his eyes off the screen sometimes. I didnt start playing the game and thought that it wouldnt be very fun, but that was where i went wrong because i hadn’t tried it yet to see how much fun it really was. It took a few months for my brother to finally convince me to actually play the game and when i did, it was like something i never thought it would be. Also, Talisman is right, i can’t express my feelings towards talisman from just words that anyone can type down, but everything i type today is truly from me and alot of the things i want to say to Talisman.

First of all, there were many challenges i went through throughout the game, but it was still fun and extremely breath-taking. The leveling was a little hard, and took lots of time, but it shows some players that working for something pays off, instead of cheating for it like some of the players that got banned from the game for their clueless hacking. Alot of people might think that hacking is okay but i think that it will just hit you back later on and there are some player examples of that. There were other challenges as well, such as combining because it takes alot of luck and patience. Although there were so many challenges, players got through them and it led to lots of satisfaction which is what gets me so hooked to this game, because i want to get to a higher level, meet new friends, and once you start the game, you might not be able to look away.

Another thing about Talisman online is that when you need help, they are always able to answer your questions, but it might take a while sometimes. Also, some players must understand that there are thousands of people who play this game and they ask questions too, so if they didnt get to yours, then just be a little bit more patient and your answer will come. I have come up with some creative designs for Talisman online but sooner or later, i’m sure they will have the same due to the time they take into working on this game. Some people might only be doing the essay for the prizes, but i am truly taking this chance to let everyone on the Talisman crew know how i and probably thousands of other people feel about the game they have created.

The finale thing i want to thank talisman for is all the friends that i have made. The friends that have helped me through alot are my brother Scorpian, and my bestest friends in this game which are scorpian7, HellFireBlade, and Talon. I want to end my essay on how special friends can be in life expieriances and virtual expieriances. I know scorpian7 in real life and he is very awesome in and out of the game, he really knows how to make someone laugh and apparently he thinks he is the KING OF CAKES. HellFireBlade has known me for a long time but not in real life, but has helped me through alot, such as quests, and talking to me alot, but Talon is one the best friends i know on Talisman, i can tell her anything and everything, and she is someone i can talk to when i really need it most. If i were to choose my bestest friend on here, it would probably be Talon lolz, cause she makes me laugh and listens to my problems hehe and i listen to her too, i owe alot to her lol . So in short, even if they are friends through a game, they are real people and Talisman has shown that just a game can bring alot of people together

TO is my first MMORPG and I fell in love with her the moment I saw it. #4 I was quite a noob about games at the beginning and luckily I got many friends on Sky around Water. My first char was a sin but later I switched to fairy. I still remember the first time I traded with someone, I thought that i should put the amount of golds I will get on my side so i gave a SE and put like 8g......Actually I was wrong and I gave the item to the guy for tree......>.< (Sorry for this guy cuz I shouted on world channel later claiming him as a scammer......) This is the one noob thing I did. There were some other things that I made wrong too at the beginning of the game but later I understood it better and better with help of friends here.

I would like to buff everyone I can see when I am a fairy. Here friends come to help me with bosses and caves so that I can level up quite fast. Here I have a good fairy master Landy who taught me a lot including using Purple Cowry’s . Here I meet people from all over the world and talk and quest with them. Here I joined Leaping Frogs and got the honor to be an officer (Although something just happened that I am no longer in it, I loved it a lot.

It’s lucky to be a fairy, you got more chances to go to caves because the team needs you. At the very beginning, my goal as a fairy is to be a good healer (of course it remains the same now). I always intended to heal when someone in the team was losing hp bar. It’s ok when only a few mobs are hitting your teammates, I understand it now that if too many mobs are on one player and he/she loses lots of hp, I should just let he/her die and revive later, or the aggro switch to me and I got killed. Now I understand the fairy stays as a support and hope in team, she must stay alive so that she can bring others back to life.

Now I am lucky to be a member of Anarchy. And I like my guild mates here, sometimes addicted to guild chats, lol. For time difference, the city war started at 0:00 for me, I got there a bit sleepy but then the war just wakes me up. It would be such a long list if I need to say the ones I thank here. But I hope everyone who is nice to me will understand that I really appreciate it. I understand that it’s the friendship and loyalty that bound us together firmly in this fantasy world. And united, we bloom and grow up~~~

I think my characteristics suits me well with my fairy. I enjoy helping people and I am not brave enough to tank. But sometimes I think tanking is so so cool! As fairy I can only see bosses from a distance. If I go any closer, bang, I am down in 1 hit, lolz. However, there are some great fairies that can tank caves as well, they have good hp, defense and mana. I want to be one of them and that’s what I am working hard to achieve. I want 4 pieces of SSC purple and 2 PVP purple~~~~ The road is still quite long ahead but I won’t give up. (Little ads here: Pinky would like it if you want her to be your master. She is kind and helps apprentices with bosses and caves. She only charges master points. #3)

For now, although I can’t tank boss, I can go into them when I want to feel its power, #4, that’s just a fast way to go out of ssc cave- going into the boss and get yourself killed! It would save you 60 seconds of transporting after team dismiss. But last time, it took me some time when I used this method, cuz I got revived by my reviving crystal and I need to wait and get killed again, lol. I guess the best thing of being a level 66 is Feel Free to Die at Any Time. J

Oh, I almost forget to say that I have been playing TO for over 7 months. It’s a bit short for some hardcore players but that doesn’t matter. I love TO and my friends on SW, wish TO better and better and my friends happy here for ever!
