I hope they add some titles to find in the new battleon mostly in new areas there are 0 tittles like doomwood dages arena westmere and frost castle Battleon will be a kingdom but leaded by heroes as artix said it
I hope they dont rush it and release it badly like isle of dead... Maybe some good backstory is needed to explain the kingless kingdom...
Isle of dead was more like a filler release. Hopefully the pally castle or whatever and the necro tower will be alot better.
Cysero did say that they would polish Isle of Dead this week so that is something to look forward to.
I prefer Battleon being kept to its original intent, a town. City seems too farfetched, and probably unrealistic considering the amount of polygons as well as draw calls for something massive. And yes, AE could, instead of making Battleon one entire map, break it down into different maps, but I think that would be confusing for new players arriving at the game.
For some reason I have started liking the idea more and more. I think it'll be good to do something new with Battleon so that AQ3D doesn't just seem like the same as all of the old games but in 3D. I think it's good that AQ3D has something unique and different. Rip, I wanted April Fools lol. But at least people can stop complaining about the Isle content sucking cuz it was so small.
Well, they're not limited. Battleon is just the starting location, and it just seems farfetched to make a starting location the biggest central hub in the game. They could use Swordhaven, an actual kingdom, as the big central city. They could even take some of their old ideas (like RavenSpire) and transform it into the image they're making of Battleon. It doesn't have to be limited to Battleon.
Battleon is the main base for all heros, but we can agree to disagree. We will see how well it gets implemented, my mind could change. I mean, it already has.
@Snowy Hey dude, how do you feel about the new release of Battleon City? Do you think they did it good enough?
It's alright. Felt as if the place was overambitious, and the vastness of the map makes the place seem like it's missing tidbits of content like a map guide across Battleon. The forced quest tutorials felt to "hand-holding" since every aspect of the game already feels intuitive. Also, I wouldn't be able to imagine how Battleon invasions will be done will how the place is separated by districts since players could potentially be scattered if invasions happen in different districts; they'd probably have to move invasions to a subsection of Battleon or to Greenguard. I will say that the new Battleon does well with adding parkour and more climbable structures than the previous Battleon maps, but it really does stray away from the Battleon experience that encompassed the original AdventureQuest, and even AQWorlds.
AQ3D is it's own game so Battleon City not being similar to Battleon in AQ or AQW is just expected. I would like to see how AE is going to handle invasions with Battleon City too.
