Top 5 rarest items in AQ3D

It's certainly more time consuming to get a chance at getting it because you need run a dungeon and search for rare doomwood chests.

 

1. Shovel blade
2. Dragon spinner
3. Any Custom Weapon
4. Frogzard Cabin Cape
5. 8-bit NES Cartridge pet/backpack

 

Makes my wish that AE made Shovel Blade obtainable again. Just put it back to the same source you could get it from.

 

I've never seen anyone with the shovel blade and I've only seen one guy with the dragon spinner (his IGN is zombietoon). The shovel blade is super nice looking and I'm actually happy IF they never put it back for the sake of having more perma-rares in the game...

 

Cysero said that they were supposed go down the path of not making perma-rares or not as many of them but I guess old habits don't die that easily. Shovel Blade was obtainable before and thus should be brought back like the rest of pre-beta items and there still are some that are yet to return.

 

Someone on twitter mentioned that lots of perma-rares will take a bunch of space over time which makes sense for a game like this. Dage mentioned on twitter that some of the wedding items coming next week might or might not be perma-rare. Sucks if nothing of those items will go perma-rare.

Also: I hate how people started to use the word "rare" to items with low drop rates/hard to get. Now we need to use the term perma-rares...

 

There are a lot of items in game already and very little amount of those items are perma-rare so I don't think the lack of room is going to be an issue.

 

Hopefully you're right with the space not being an issue. I'm really looking forward to collect more items.

 

It shouldn't be because if it was then we would have noticed that already.

 

Top 5... Many were released during the alpha stage, so there's way more than 5. And I only count the stuff that anyone could get, I won't count stuff like impulsive cloak, which is so so stupid. To make a rare cape with art that great and only available to a few players, not even mentioning the massive ' f you ' to paying customers outside the US. Anyway, my list:

1. Original warrior set, VERY rare. If someone has it, I would like a screenie, so I may stare in jealousy.
2. Wrap of determination, I know this cape is seen in game on a few players, but this is the definition of rarity done right, and it looks gorgeous.
3. The swords that they haven't brought back yet, sighs... Goldie comes to mind, skull duggery etc.
4. Basic set, armour and cape, also have not seen anyone with both pieces, but am sure there are a few.
5. Original golden set, shoulders + helm. Only added cause I have it . They should seriously have made the helm darker, like they did for the original necromancer hood, not fair at all. So it at least matches ornate golden shoulders or the regular ones.

 

Original warrior set just screams that "I am a warrior!". I like the style of it. I use basic armor as warrior armor because that's what it looks like.

 

Or just call them low% drops/items to distinguish from rare items that aren't obtainable anymore. Anyway, it's hard to know what they plan with the wedding items. I don't know how one could imagine AE reusing the items for other purposes, if it's supposed to be for a particular event, but you never know what they'll do. They could throw it in as a treasure chest item instead since it wouldn't fit any other theme in the game but the wedding event, or the could make the event part of the Underworld storyline for whatever reason.

 

We got a new low drop item that will totally make the list: UWU Shrade mask. It has a drop rate of similar to A Frogzard Ate My Head and it's seasonal and only obtainable during the time when Camp Gonnagetcha is around.

 

Now is uwu mask, damn so hard to get this legendary rare drop :/

Probably would be easier if they didn't buff the monsters, especially weeks after the initial Friday 13th release since less players are farming the dungeon compared to its debut. Doesn't help that the map is seasonal either, and it's probably better to wait until next Friday the 13th at this point (which isn't too far away).

 

Luckily we have to wait until this December for another shot at farming it. Not as bad as waiting a whole year.

 

You has a point there bro about the doom reaper it is very hard to farm it esp to the free players like me becauze its so hazzle to travel without morph to bone cliffs to umbral then if you find a room that dont has a chest you will travel again in bone cliffs so thats kinda hard to othets like if we cant produce an alternate account that we can use just to goto and goto.... but it really depends on the luck and the determination of the player

F2P Cape doesn't seem that rare, but you also don't see a lot of players who own it equipping it. It just seems underrated since there are a bunch of red promo capes, and of those red capes, most people pick Curse Gaming or maybe one of the more common capes. I will say that the F2P Cape was totally RNG based since you had to win a raffle-like system in order to obtain it, and not everyone had that chance (even though they were present at the time), but there were plenty out there. Maybe not as much as some of the other capes, but far more than 2P and Curse Gaming. The 2P Cape, the green promo cape, is an item that I'd consider especially rare since like Curse Gaming, there were roughly 250 capes available; I think what makes 2P Cape even special is that you had to use an Android app to get it, so if you exclusively used PC or if you owned an iPhone, it was a painful process since you'd have to find an Android emulator/simulator or ask a friend (someone who owns an Android device) to help you get it.
