Multiplayer? Singleplayer? Browser based? 3D? Board?
Which engine, or language you use?

 

Played it, few battles (panther, vk3001h, vk3002m). Vk3002m is better than vk3001h was. Vk3001h is good after 8.8 nerf, and panther i didnt saw much greater improvements. Didnt encounter any new maps.

Team Damage & Team Killing in 8.8
Team Damage & Team Killing in 8.8 | General News | World of Tanks

Certain changes to the parameters of the team damage and team killing system were implemented with the 8.8 release. The system itself takes any action leading to team mate, module or hull damage into account, including that caused by platoon mates. Additionally, the penalty for team damage or team killing within the same battle will now increase at an exponential rate with each such action.

Reviewing the statistics and your feedback gathered after the 8.8 release we came to a conclusion that the system requires additional amendments. Specifically, it has been decided to reconsider the respective parameters for the future updates and for now, roll them back to 8.7 version values.

At the same time we would like to remind you that team damage or team killing is prohibited by the rules of the game. Please be cautious on the battlefield!

SU-100Y
This Premium Soviet Tank Destroyer is a very good damage dealer. Armed with a powerful 130mm gun, it can easily destroy many of the same-tier vehicles with just one shot. If undetected, it can be an unpleasant surprise to higher-tier tanks as well. The very massive and identifiable silhouette is sometimes hard to hide and protect, but the feeling of driving such a huge beast is incomparable.


SU-122-44
This Soviet Tier VII tank destroyer is a very interesting vehicle. The SU-122-44 is a fast, agile and nimble vehicle with very little armour and an amazing gun. The 122mm D-25S gun provides outstanding firepower. The 90 mm frontal armour is very well angled but doesn’t provide a lot of protection against other Tier VII vehicles. However, the driver of this tank destroyer does not have to worry about that, because enemies of a similar tier will not engage this vehicle frontally, if they have any self-preservation instinct.

Löwe
This premium tank is one of the most commonly spotted premium vehicles in game. The Lowe is a German tier VIII heavy tank. It is equipped with a 10.5 cm KwK 46 L/70 gun and is one of the best killing machines on the World of Tanks battlefields. The Lowe is also one of the best credit making tanks in the game and is an essential addition to the garage for every tank collector.

IS-6
The IS-6 is a Soviet tier VIII heavy tank. The armour on the tank is relatively thin but it is very well sloped, giving a good defensive capability. The tank is equipped with the 122 mm D-30 gun. This has a relatively low penetration, so you will need to adjust your tactics and aim for enemy weak spots, but the gun is capable of delivering a lot of damage with a good rate of fire.

FCM 50 t
This vehicle is a Premium Tier VIII French heavy tank. Even though it is classified as heavy, the playstyle of this vehicle is closer to that of a medium tank. Whilst it is lightly armoured, the FCM 50 t is quite fast, very mobile, and armed with the very reliable 90mm DCA-45 gun. If you like to play as support and excel at sneaky flanking and peek-a-boo tactics, the FCM 50t will be your new best friend!

With the new 8.8 version you can expect to discover new tanks, a new map and play an improved game! Some of the new features are listed below.



The opportunity to sell your T26E4 SuperPershing tier VIII premium tank has now been released, this opportunity was mentioned with the release of the 8.6 update. So you are now able to sell this tank in game for gold! However this will only be available until the release of the 8.9 update.


New Branch of Soviet Medium Tanks:

A-43 (Tier VI)
A-44 (Tier VII)
Object 416 (Tier VIII)
Object 140 (Tier X)


New Additions to the German Tech Tree:

Durchbruchswagen 2 (Tier IV heavy tank)

Changes in the German Tech Tree:

VK 30.01 H will be rebalanced and moved to Tier V as a heavy tank

This Autumn-style map will introduce open spaces as well as some rocky and forest terrains.

The maintenance is now over and the download of the new content will begin once you launch the game. You can also download it manually via the Download section.


Players with a Premium account during the maintenance will be compensated.
