The third season of the European Wargaming.net League is already half way through, and we’re happy to say that is an amazing season full of surprises. The match days for the league take place every Monday and Thursday, starting from 19:00 CEST (UTC +2).

Kazna Kru and Evil Panda Squad, who finished second and third respectively in the second season, have put in an average performance so far. However, don’t forget that their performance in the qualifiers of the previous season wasn’t particularly amazing, but they still managed to score great at gamescom!

The season started with twelve teams, but the first thing that may catch your eye is that currently there are only eleven teams playing. Due to the disbanding of 7even Sins, they were disqualified, their team score reset, and all the games they took part in were cancelled. It’s always sad to see new teams go, especially when they’ve gotten so far, but we hope to see them back one day!


Long-time veterans, Odem Mortis, have dropped their sponsor and are once again playing under their old logo. As always, they can put up an incredible show and have not disappointed this season!

Aside from that, there are currently no major surprises at the top of the scoreboard. The old champions are still on top, and the only team which has not managed to fulfil expectations is mousesports, which is still lingering at the lower end of the table.



The offline finals of the third season are getting closer, and we’d like to tell you more. The first season finals were held at Dreamhack, while the second season had an epic finish at gamescom. Many of you have been asking us about it, wanting to know how Wargaming are going to beat those! Alas, we can’t tell you anything just yet, but you’ll get to know very soon! In fact, we’ll let you know as soon as we know!

Welcome to week 42 of the EN Screenshot Contest. The map we picked this time is...
"Tundra"


We want to see your best pictures of this battlefield showing off how awesome it looks! Are you looking out across a beautiful view or is your tank fighting hard dodging enemy shells and explosions? These are just examples, the choices for a cool screenshot are endless, just use your imagination and be creative!

As with previous rounds, there is are restrictions on how you get your picture. This can be from Company Battles, Platoons, Random Games, or even the Training Room. There is no tier or weight restrictions.

Please remember the following rules:
All entries must be posted HERE!
Week 42 will close on Friday the 18th of October at 20:45 CEST!
Players need to submit 2 entries, one normal picture without the UI, and the exact same picture showing your UI. This is to prove it’s really your tank and the image hasn't been taken from elsewhere on the web or from someone else's account/replay.
No editing of the picture is allowed. You cannot touch up the image using Photoshop or another similar image editing software.
MODS ARE ALLOWED - Please note this is an important change.The reason for this change is because the real entry is your screen shot without your UI. The only add-on that may affect this screen shot is going to be the zoom out mod or a skin mod. Things like Reticle mods, team list mods etc don't have an impact on your entry. We don't want to list each and every mod and say yes/no. To help avoid any confusion about this, we have decided to allow mods on people's entries, please remember however the format that your pictures need to be submitted in (detailed above).
Please note only 1 entry per player. Entries edited after the deadline will not be counted. That's even if you're just correcting spelling errors.
The winning entries will be announced in this thread by the following Tuesday at the very latest. The judges will be IPaul72, Ectar and iScending. If for any reason one of us are not present, another member of the community team will take our place and they will be announced as a judge.

We have just closed the previous creative contests and whilst that's being judged we have decided to start the second one! It will be slighly trickier, and will require a bit more of your time, but I'm sure you will agree that it's worth it!
The Contest

Look at the World of Tank products and count the number of tanks you see on the products! (Please note that the cup is not included, so ignore it ).

It's been "rebalanced" in 8.9, let's see exactly what that means, and is its tier 4 successor - the Marder38t any good?
