    I don't think it was. I can't really find any numbers though. Hearthstone is looking like a great replacement though.... aside from it not being a physical card game.

    Really enjoyed the first one... It got a little repetitive fast (in my opinion) but quite indeed a good game.

    Looking good! Just hope it doesnt feature *much* aerial combat... from my previous experience, most players want to see aerial combat in mmos and stuff, because they dont know what they want =P real 3D fighting and movement make things hard to precisely control... but checking the website to know more about it =)

    New over here, Im an indie game dev in Brazil looking for feedback on my newest game, so I thought, why not go to a MMO forum? =P

    Nah, Guild Wars 2 currently doesn't have any free trial. It's doing pretty good, the player base is still great, it can be slim in some area's like all games but it's still got a fair number of servers and they are all doing pretty well. Content wise, the game has changed a lot since launch, they have tweaks and adjustments all over. They add new content every two weeks which has been great.

    Overall it seems in great shape for a MMO that's over a year old now.

    Can you tell us more about the game? Like does it have multiple classes? What is the game about? I see a lot of characters in the video, are they all players? Is the gameplay in the video the main focus of the game? Like is the point of the game to battle in arena style areas against different bosses or does the game also have other content leading up to that?

    The Event is being extended to Friday, Oct. 25th at 11:59PM Eastern. The Event is being extend to adjust the cycle the Event is on, the next Event will be scheduled with a few extra days as well. The next Event will start Monday, Oct 28th.

    Actually, in this game its the other way around. You are the Boss, and the players are the NPCs. After much thought, the bosses of the world found a way to gain access to the most powerful weapon of mass destruction... Experience Points... and now, your objective is to level up every and each Boss in the world to make it the ultimate player-killing machine.

    The game is still in its early development stages, to be more precise, we are only 2 months into development, so there is a huge ton of stuff we want to add. The arena you see in the video is the headquarters of the Skeleton King, one of many bosses that can be controlled by you. You can customize each headquarter with traps and new features that grant you bonuses, such as dark altars, alchemy labs, etc.

    We have also some cooperative/competitive player bashing features in the roadmap, such as Global objectives and all out war against the players, where hundreds of raid bosses raid the players' fortresses, and there is a huge skill tree to make each boss unique.

    You start off with weaker bosses, but you are able to turn them into powerful beasts with items, upgrades and gems, and only the most powerful of the bosses can hope to kill the king of the players.

    As you can check out in the video, the idea is that the "heroes" really feel like players, they complain about imbalances, they get lag, their mouse batteries run out, they whine a lot... and at the same time giving you the epic feeling of stomping dozens of enemies simultaneously. We want the "real players" to feel like they truly are the boss, and that no one can match their power.

    The third public test is now open.
    Update 8.9 is coming, and it’s time to test the changes! The World of Tanks development team needs to conduct a thorough test and they want you to take part.

    The development team want to make the game as good as possible and getting your feedback is a big part of that. Taking part in the public test is your chance to let us know your thoughts and suggestions on forthcoming updates. This means we can review your feedback and make any further changes before the update goes live.

    All World of Tanks players are eligible to take part in the public test as long as they registered before 1st October 2013. You don’t need to be an experienced tester to join in; you just need to be willing to try out as many of the new features as you can and send us your feedback!

    New North American map: “Northwestâ€

    How the Public Test Works
    When it is time to run a public test, the developers will release a test version of the client. This can be downloaded by following the instructions below. Make sure that you follow all of the instructions carefully, so that you don’t accidentally cause problems to your main play account.

    Your test client account will usually be a copy of your play account, meaning that all the vehicles purchased and research that you have completed will be the same. However, please note:

    The test account is completely separate to your normal account. Achievements and research that you complete on the test client will not be carried over to your play account.

    Financial transactions are not possible on the test server and payments will not be accepted.

    Depending on the needs of the test, your test account may be credited with gold, credits or experience.

    The test server is subject to the same EULA and general rules as the World of Tanks game server. This means that you still need to play nice, or face the usual consequences just the same as on the official game server.

    All test accounts will receive a one-time credit of:

    100,000,000 free XP
    100,000,000 credits
    20,000 Gold
    The rate of credits and experience gain will not be increased for this test.



    Feedback
    Once you have logged into the test client, you are encouraged to play as much or as little as you want. Feel free to try out all the new features and see what you can do!

    Once you have been playing for a while, please let us know your feedback by posting to these special forum threads: The first is for bug reports and the second is for general feedback about the test version. The community managers will collect up all your responses on the thread and send them to the developers.

    The sort of feedback we are particularly interested in includes:

    Any bugs or glitches that you have found in the game. Got stuck in the scenery? Game crashes when you do a certain action? Tell us all about it!
    Honest feedback about vehicles and game mechanics. If you think something doesn’t function well, then please tell us.
    Anything you particularly like? Do you love the new stats for a previously underpowered vehicle? Confirm to the developers that the community is now satisfied with that feature, letting them focus on other new improvements.


    How to Join the Public Test

    Eager to get going? Follow the instructions below to join the test!

    Download the test client installer.
    Make sure you pick a save location that is different to your regular World of Tanks game files. Save and run the installer. (10.7 MB)
    Run the new copy of the game. The launcher will download all the additional data (5.97 GB).
    Log in and start playing. Remember to post your feedback to this forum thread.
    Please be aware of the following:

    In order to make the test experience more efficient, it may be necessary to limit the number of players on the test server. . If the server is full when you log in, you’ll be placed into a queue.

    The test server will be restarted regularly, according to the following schedule:

    First Periphery: 07:00 CEST (05:00 GMT) every EVEN day of the month. Average duration will be around 25 minutes.
    Second Periphery: 07:00 CEST (05:00 GMT) every ODD day of the month. Average duration will be around 25 minutes.
    Central Database: 8:00 CEST (03:30 GMT) every day. Average duration will be around 2 or 3 minutes.
    The test server may be subject to unscheduled restarts and maintenance.

    And of course, remember that it is a test server! This means that you may encounter bugs and temporary features. Everything in the test version could change before the final release.
