Kiz Studios has announced that it will be on hand to officially kick off the open beta of SmashMuck Champions at this weekend's PAX Prime convention in Seattle. The game will be available for both Mac and PC beginning September 1st.

The game has been in closed beta for quite a while with MMOBomb hosting a few beta giveaways in the past for SmashMuck Champions. No word on how long the open beta will last but it is typical of Free-to-Play developers to use the Open Beta period as a sort of “soft launchâ€. Allowing players to continue progressing without fear of their accounts being wiped.

A game that was once at the top of my Most Anticipated list today announced it will be shutting down its servers. It's always a sad day for a game to say goodbye to its gamers and supporters. The Black Prophecy team has posted a new blog article indicating that the game will be ceasing operations on September 26, 2012. The letter indicates that financial woes are to blame for the game's demise.

 

Starting at 7:00 p.m. EDT on Thursday, August 30th, Free Realms developers will broadcast Sunstone Valley's features on Twitch TV.

They will also be sharing a few more changes that have been made to Free Realms. Be sure to show up on time as the broadcast is only expected to last for 15 minutes.

Sunstone Valley is a rocky canyon that's home to a clan of uppity dwarves, a place called Wheelie Pete's, and the awesome Rumbledome.

Low end pc not sure if can play on this pc as well wait for OBT only in CBT right know any how so wait for OBT ! Just as well not sure if i can even try it out , try download sevencore looked good but was unable make toon do to graphical lag! Well Stilling , As of right in slum , rut , AS well having hard time geting in to game as of right know! Tryed few but where not realy some thing would play for long time!

Exactly when the war ended is unclear. The processes that led to the end of the war perhaps began with the Battle of Berlin in April 1945. This was the final major offensive of the European part of the war and lasted until the 2nd May. During this time the rulers of the German regime, sensing that the end had come, took their own lives.

After that, the German forces across Europe began to surrender and Victory in Europe was declared on the 8th May 1945.

However, across the Pacific, battle still raged. Despite being pushed back from all fronts, the culture of the Japanese meant that they were determined to go down fighting. Complete destruction of Japan was threatened if they did not comply and then these threats were followed up on with the US dropping an atomic bomb on Japan on August 6th. The Soviet Union then declared war on Japan on August 8th and invaded straight afterwards, whilst the US used another atomic bomb on August 9th.

Shocked by these events, the Emperor of Japan ordered the Supreme Council for the Direction of War to step down. Victory over Japan was declared on August 15th local time.

The Japanese formally signed the instrument of surrender on September 2nd 1945. This event formally brought the fighting to an end, although political negotiations were to continue for many years to come.

However, as 1945 drew to a close and the machinery of war was packed up across the world, it was easy to tell that a new age of history had begun.

In World of Tanks, we want to honour these momentous events with some extra-special bonuses this weekend. Reflect on the past and the lessons of history, whilst hitting the battlefields in style.
