We hope that you enjoyed the holidays and are ready to resume your fight for domination in Clan Wars. We would like to remind you that the Global Map will be unfrozen on Thursday 9th January at 11.15 CET (GMT +1).

Please note that once the map is live again, the first day will be reserved for a minor Re-division Phase. For the duration of one day, all provinces will become landing zones with an application limit of 32. Additionally, the following rules will be active during that phase:
Tank locking enabled
Fog of War enabled
Spies/counter-spies disabled
Revolts disabled
Ransacks disabled
Subversions disabled
Tier restriction: I-X

In addition, during this phase there will be no map wipe. This means that all provinces you might have had on the Global Map before the freeze will still be under your control once the Global Map is unlocked.

After the small Re-division phase is over, the rules will revert to those from before the Campaign:
Tank locking enabled
Fog of War enabled
Spies/counter-spies enabled
Revolts enabled
Ransacks enabled
Subversions enabled
Tier restriction: I-X
Province income: standard
Landing zones: standard
Landing application limit: 64

[UPDATE] Clan Wars: Global Map Freeze during the Holidays | Clan Wars | World of Tanks

 

Tankers and Pilots,

Celebrate the New Year in the Wargaming world by participating in special cross-game events during January! This special contest is called the Wargaming Universe Month.

The legendary Type 59, Beta accesses to World of Warships, premium planes, tons of gold and premium time are on the line.

Complete Activities for Points

During the entire month of January (January 2nd at 00:00 CET (GMT+1) to 30th at 00:00 CET) you are tasked with competing in various activities in either World of Tanks or World of Warplanes in order to earn points. You can of course complete activities in both games for more points!

Activities that award points include creative contests, regional contests, and in-game challenges. Depending on how well you perform in each activity, you will win a certain amount of points. Accumulating points requires careful strategy when assessing your competition: will you carefully choose the path of least resistance, or will you play in both games and compete for first place in every activity?

Throughout the month we will keep you updated with information on each new activity. Please check the current activities and the amount of points you can win.

Prizes for Accumulating Points

Depending on how many points you accumulate, you can win some cool prizes ranging from 1,000 gold—for earning only 200 points— to premium tanks, planes, thousands of gold and even a key for the Beta test of World of Warships!

The prizes you win directly correspond to the amount of points you accumulate: the more points you have, the better the prizes!

Regional Contests:

There will be two regional contests per week, but please be aware that you can only participate in one region, as each region will have the same exact contest.

In-game Challenges:

You can win the following points depending on your place in the challenge:

1st place 500 points
2-10th place 400 points
11-50th place 300 points
51-100th place 200 points
101-500th place 100 points
501-1,000th place 50 points



For the second week (January 9-15) the challenges are:
Score the most experience possible in a single battle with a Tier IV or V tank in World of Tanks.
Score the most experience possible in a single battle with a Tier IV or V plane in World of Warplanes.



For the first week (January 2-8) the challenges are:
“Low Tiers, High XP†– score the most experience possible in a single battle with a Tier II or III tank in World of Tanks.
“Low Tiers, High XP†– score the most experience possible in a single battle with a Tier II or III plane in World of Warplanes.


Details:
The battle results counted will not include bonuses (Premium Account, Double XP for the first victory of the day, etc)
Only random battles will count. Battles from clan wars and company battles will not count.
Players don’t need to submit any screenshots or replays in order to win. Wargaming will be pulling the statistics directly from our database (so players not meeting the above requirements will not have those matches counted).
Premium Tanks do not count
All results received that include attempts to abuse the system (for example, fake fights in random battles) will be removed from the winners list.
