The 8.1 update has already been live for a nice couple of days. At Wargaming we know, that you never have enough of the real steel! That is why we have already planned to bring you the 8.2 update with even more tanks to roll out with by the end of this year.

The Chinese tanks are coming in with a bang! We hope that you’re as excited as we are!

The 8.2 update will bring the new Chinese tech tree, which will at first contain light, medium and heavy tanks. The following vehicles will be included in the tree when it will be launched:
Light - Renault NC-31, Vickers Mk.E Type B/T26, M5, 59-16, WZ131, WZ132
Medium - Type 97 Chi-Ha, Type58, T-34, T-34-1, T-34-2, Type 59 (WZ-120), 121
Heavy - IS-2, 110 (IS-2U), 111 1/2/3, 111 4/5

Apart from the video we have prepared a few new renders, screenshots, and a special high resolution art, so that you can take a very close look at the new monsters! Enjoy the T-34-1, T-34-2 and the Type 97 CHI-HA!

Are you interested in the Chinese tree? If not, fear not! We will also deliver other vehicles. The update will deliver 5 new American tanks:
Light - Т21, T71
Medium - T69, Т54
Heavy - Т57

And also 3 new premium vehicles to satisfy your credit earning needs:
The tier VIII French Heavy tank FCM 50t

Tanks is not everything in World of Tanks. What would tanks be without battlefields? With the 8.2 update we will continue the process of upgrading maps to the new rendering system which was started with the 8.0 update and give them the nice facelift! The following four maps will be upgraded:
Prokhorovka
Redshire
Erlenberg
Ruinberg

All these new features and fixes are being cooked for you by our World of Tanks developers! The 8.2 update will also bring the usual amount of fixes to make your gaming experience even better!

What's missing is a try-before-you-buy demo of potential purchases-think Team Fortress 2's week-long tryout for certain shop items. A tweet sent today by SOE President John Smedley stated the developer will jump-jet a similar system for launch: a field-use trial period for shop guns.

"We have listened to your feedback and we are implementing the ability to try weapons before you buy them - for launch." Smedley wrote. "These trials will likely be short, and we will limit the number of items you can try per day, but we have heard your feedback loud and clear."

If there's one thing you don't want to encounter in the cut-and-thrust world of sandbox zombie survival MMOs, it's pesky hackers. The War Z has seen some growing problems with hackers, so developer Hammerpoint is directing all efforts towards trying to lock them out.

Hammerpoint stated "As I'm sure all of you are aware, there's been a lot of discussion lately surrounding the hackers. Over here we've been working round the clock on a solution."

Bugs like item duplication and the ability to glitch onto roofs are also being addressed. As a result of the new focus on hackers, the introduction of Clans is now likely to be delayed until next week.
