Triple Triad forum dupes - please ignore

It's NOT ok to steal games, you should not even being playing a cracked version. It's theft! The sooner people get this idea that stealing games is somehow ok out of their heads the better... it's not ok. You are personally contributing to people getting fired, think about that for a second.

Ok now pretend you just made an awesome game, you put it up for sale... your all excited and the numbers start rolling in. You only need 1000 people to buy the game and you've made back your money and can start profiting... next thing you know you've got not only 1000 but 3318! Your rich! BUT WAIT! You check your account and O NO D: Guess what? The numbers aren't adding up, it appears only 214 of them actually bought the game... a measly 6%.

Lets say the game was only $10.. a rather normal price for a new indie game. That's $31,040 out the window. Think about that for a second, you've made a whole $2,140 which isn't bad per-say but you only made 2k out of a possible 31k because people feel it's ok to steal your game.

By the way these numbers are based on a real indie dev, this was the real start to their careers and it could of sunk them. They were smart, had a trick up their sleeves and caught the eye of the press which likely saved them... not everyone will be that lucky.

Just to be clear, one can not sell their account to another. It's not allowed per-Mojang. If you want the game you'll have to buy it yourself from the link above or trade for a prepaid Minecraft card.
