Developer Daniel Benmergui, of Today I Die and I wish I were the Moon fame, recently updated his blog for the much anticipated Storyteller with an estimated release date and some alpha footage. The IGF 2012 Nuovo award winner is scheduled for a late 2013 release for Windows, Mac, and iOS devices.

The gameplay in this brand new video is all about the creation of comic strips using various people, props, and word bubbles to create a story. The narrative is very integral to the game which is a nice change of pace for those who enjoy a good story. Each character will have certain traits that will effect how the comic strip progresses. The ending is always predetermined; however, the play will have the ability to use various elements to create it.

I would like to announce that Dawn 2055 is now officially out of beta testing!

Dawn 2055 is an online browser game taking place in an aftermath of nuclear holocaust. It is offering various features:

• Develop your character and squad in a way which affects your further gameplay. Choose your speciality out of 7 options. Further enhance your skills by leveling up and improving your skills. Hire many different mercenaries, take other npc survivors or buy slaves to your group and equip them with weapons and equipment!
• Do variety of tasks, missions and encounters. Start with simple tasks and unlock more rewarding missions as you progress. Encounter various events in the wasteland giving you choices affecting your character. Will you help a wounded survivor or kill him to loot his backpack?
• Explore the map based on actual California and Nevada. Find many ruined cities, military bases, hospitals and industrial ruins covered in deadly radiation inhabited by hostile NPCs.
• Trade with other players in forever changing markets. All trading in Dawn 2055 is done between its players. Buy low and sell high or search for best trading routes!
• Scavenge and craft many different items. Search for materials in ruins of the old world and use scavenged materials to repair or create new equipment, weapons, and armour. Use these items to further improve your skills or sell them to make profit!
• PVP. Fight and mug other players and become a bandit or improve your reputation by fighting player bandits.
• Organize in gangs. Build your own gang settlements and upgrade those to fully functioning town with your own item warehouse, shop, bar, warehouse and strong defences. No time or resources to build a town? No problem! Organize your own highly armed player gang and take over of one of dozens of already build player towns.
• Do whatever you want! No forced tasks or limited rules. Full SandBox player driven environment!
