So what vehicle do you like most?

 

I like flying myself. (plane one)

 

What do you prefer? shooting people or using melee weapons to kill them?

 

But I have almost everything unlocked on east

 

You could always make some rules to compensate for the fact that some people won't have the runes/champions needed when playing on another server.

Some possible rules:
- You're not allowed to use any runes or masteries. Compensates for the lack of runes and masteries, and lvl difference when playing on a different server.
- Matches are best of 3. Switch between the "home server" of the participants of the match. Decide at random which one gets the first match on his server.

off course this would mean that you might have to make an account on all 3 servers, depending on who you get matched against. I wouldn't mind though.

 

That is why HoN is way better than LOL.

Mid now has midwars so you can do a 1 vs 1 mid wars. 1 rune and if it´s one vs 1 you know if someone goes for a rune.
HoN hasn´t been played much in this forum so it´s a good idea to try something new so everyone is a bit ´new ´ to the game.

I would be willing to arrange something for LoL. I don't know HoN well enough though.


What we should do:

1. Rules and tournament setup
2. Asking people to sign up somewhere. Maybe in a new topic or just here
3. Randomly draw the brackets
4. Let participants contact each other for the play time. Maybe set a deadline for each match?
5. Wait and see who wins

I wouldn't mind taking care of updating brackets and such during this tournament. The first draw of the brackets should be done by Ogre or someone not participating though, since I'll be playing in the tournament.


Suggested tournament setup:

• Game mode: 1v1 all mid
• Pick mode: blind pick. 2 bans/person before the match.
• Round win condition: First blood or First turret
• Match win condition: Best of 3 (first one to win 2 rounds)
  
• Players play on each others servers. First match is on the home server of the one displayed first on the brackets (randomly decided)
• All players should use an empty rune and mastery page. Higher level players should not have an advantage.
• We could use a system with a lower bracket. If you lose you get a second chance in the lower bracket. The finals will be the winner of high bracket vs lower bracket. You'll need to play more games to get there if you are in lower bracket.
• Any kind of disagreements will be settled by Ogre or a "tournament admin" who isn't playing in the tourny. You can record your matches with LoL Recorder to provide proof when needed.

I'll also explain the lower brackets system I suggested to use, for those not familiar with it.

As you can see in the image above, Player G loses the Upper Bracket Finals. He comes back in the Grand Finals however, and wins the tournament. This is because player G wasn't eliminated from the tournament. He was only send to the lower brackets. The lower brackets is a seperate bracket for the players that lost. They get to play more matches, but even someone who lost in round 1 can still make it to the finals.

For player B to still play the Grand Finals. He would have to win 4 matches in the lower brackets. Player A who beat player B and stays in the upper bracket only has to win 2 more matches to reach these same grand finals.
