We have a new contest for you. Once you're done with spreading the love for valentines day, start spreading death along the fields of ogre world.

From 15th February at 00:01 CET till 28th February at 23:59 CET, kill as many enemy troops as you can by raiding their villages and earn valuable prizes for those that prefer the way of the killers.

1st prize: 10x Giant Spiked Ball of Doom, added directly to your armory
2nd prize: 20x Ogre Siege Monster, added directly to your armory
3rd prize: 40x Ogre Skull Cannon, added directly to your armory

In order to participate in this contest, you need to post your attack logs in this topic. Post only once, and edit your post with further attack logs as needed until the contest ends. On 1st March, your results will be calculated and the winners will be declared.
Please note that any attack you made prior to 15th February or after 28th will not count for this contest, nor will I check if you post your results in more than one post. Only the results from attack logs in your first post will count.

Troops you killed while defending from attacks will not count for this contest!

Clan Wars will be returning on February 14th at 03:15 CET (02:15 GMT). Get ready for world domination to begin once more!

Clan Wars is will be frozen for maintenance at 02:15 CET (01:15 GMT) tonight, the 24th January. The purpose of the maintenance is to implement the following changes:

Improvements and corrections have been made to the algorithm used to calculate the probability of a riot.
A fix has been made for when chips disappear from the map when a member leaves the clan.
Fixes for several other bugs related to the introduction of the Riot feature, and Clan Wars in general.
At present there is no date for when Clan Wars will be unfrozen. We’ll let you know as soon as there is information.

As you may notice, the name of the tank is very appropriate! Many of you might be wondering if it has something to do with Valentine’s Day, or if it is just a coincidence.

Sadly the absolute truth is unknown, but theories abound. Some rumours say that that the name came about because the Valentine was submitted to the War Office on St. Valentine’s Day - 14th February 1940. However, other reports claim that it was actually the 10th February 1938. Further sources claim that Valentine was the middle name of Sir John V. Carden, the designer of many vehicles including the Valentine’s predecessors. Another version says that Valentine is an acronym for Vickers-Armstrong Ltd Elswick & (Newcastle-upon) Tyne.

For the purposes of our special, let's go with the first version and enjoy some real loving on our battlefields!

Do you remember the amazing King Tiger tank that arrived at the Wargaming office last year? Well, now it will be getting a friend – a T-34-85!

The T-34-85 is, of course, a Soviet medium tank, and was the first vehicle to really make use of sloping armour for deflecting shells.

These replica remote-controlled tanks are created at 1/6th of the original size by Mark 1 Tanks in the UK. They are custom-made to order, and we have some pictures of the Wargaming T-34-85 being built!

When we introduced the Chinese tank tree in Update 8.3, we set you a challenge – to show us what you could do with your new vehicles in our Chinese Showdown Contest to win gold and the rare Type 59 and Type 62 tanks.

The results were glorious as the best players battled it out for a place in our Top100 lists. The coveted Type 59s and Type 62s have new owners and loads of gold prizes have been dished out as well.

Now we have the ability to marry our lovers, but we must meet certain requirements to do so.

Step One:

• Once you are lvl 20, you can visit Merlin in Ilya(281, 274). He will explain that you must visit 3 NPCs in the three major cities. You have to then complete each of their quests.
• Visit Jessica in Kaslow (68, 246), she will give you her quest. You have to find her pocket watch. To retrieve this you must head to Prairie Cave in Kaslow Plains and kill Rubis for the quest drop. After retrieving the pocket watch, return to Jessica to complete her part of the quest. You will get a title that gives +2% to Physical and Magical Damage as well.
• You will now get a debuff in which you have to wait 30 minutes to complete the next part.
• Visit Edward in Ilya (153,200), he will give you the next quest. Talk to him to complete the quest and get another new title. This one gives Increases EXP from killing monsters +10%
• Once again you get the wait 30 minute debuff. Once this is finished head to Stan in Jale (119, 145)
• Once you complete his quest you unlocked another title. This one gives +10% to Treasure drop rate.
• Now that all 3 quests are complete return to Merlin. Once this quest is completed you can now organize your wedding!
