Ogre I think we should wait a week more for the Proving Grounds map (1vs1) to release, it will make things a lot easier.

 

Do we need to be level 30 for this event, and must we own champions, or can we just use free ones?

 

I think it would be fair if we don't use masteries or runes so the level wouldn't matter and any champions are allowed

 

Each one of us will play on a new account so it doesn't matter what lvl you are

Actually Turkey is both an Asian and a European country. The part north of the Bosporus, Sea of Marmara and the Dardanelles is European, the part south of that is Asian. Because that player is from the Asian part of Turkey, I've mentioned it as Asian. If that player had been from a place like Istanbul, I would have mentioned it as European.

And actually I think the Asian continent gets its name from the Turkish part south of the Bosporus, Sea of Marmara, and the Dardanelles, because it used to be an ancient Roman province called Asia Minor. Which in turn is named after a Greek Goddess Asia. CLYMENE

Europe by the way is named after a Phoenician princess.

And Africa also gets its name from a Roman province, namely Africa Proconsularis, which the Romans conquered from the Carthaginians. It translates as the land of the dust dwellers. Probably because of the huge desert nearby, namely the Sahara.

 

There are 25 players in the game now. Someone registered Oda. So that's another prominent name taken.

Sadly some players are inactive, but there are a lot of active players. There are 4 players in the game who are doing very good in the rankings, each of them makes more than 1000 koku, which is a decent start. One of these four big clans is already making more than 5000 koku, but that player has many potentially hostile neighbours, while the other 3 big clans don't have that many neighbours. Though two of these big clans are right next to eachother.

Some alliances have been made. I think there is already some deception and intrigue going on. It is exciting to watch the rankings.

It's way to early to tell who is going to win, but I reckon it won't take long now, before the first actual wars start and battles are being fought.

 

Proving grounds was released about 15 hours ago on all servers.

Players start at lvl 3 with extra gold and can't recall or heal in the base.

 

I don't see it on EUNE....

 

oh. I read a topic posted by a Riot person and only checked on the NA server. He said it was on all 3 servers, but I guess he was wrong.


Edit: I checked on EU West now and it is available there. Maybe they added it later on EU.

Just to make sure you're looking in the right place. You can only make it through making a new custom game, and selecting the Proving Grounds map while making the custom.

 

That seems fair. I'm for the action to make it as a subsection to PW.

 

I think the tournament will probably take longer than 1 day, considering the time differences. We could just start it today/tomorrow I think.
