Yeah, hopefully this is the BEST Forum out there Actually I AM NOT A GAMER but recently my friend brought me to play Online Game.. the one and only Online Game I played but unfortunately I didn't enjoy the game ;( Now looking for something new.. would you recommend one?

I know , but u have to start with the basics , then move on to the next stuff.

First u learn to walk then to run.

 

I think map awareness and map control count as basics. Having the vision to know where your enemies are, and actually seeing when they walk past a ward, or when a teammate needs help is crucial.


Some more specific things:

"Focus the adc/apc" if you are not the adc for your team... If the enemy ad carry is positioned well, you shouldn't get in his reach without bringing yourself in danger. As an adc you want to focus anyone who gets close to you. You can't ignore their bruiser and go for the carries, since that bruiser is able to kill you if you don't kite him. If the bruisers for some reason don't go for you, you might have a chance to focus the adc/apc.

Play more than 1 position if you want to play ranked. Whatever position you play, if it's the only one you can play well you are not ready for ranked. There's always a chance someone else picks your role. Make sure you can play a few champions for each role. 1 champion for each position is also not enough. It can be banned/picked. If you don't want to learn too many champions, learn one who is playable on more roles. Kha'zix for example can be played as mid/top/jungle, and there are many more champions like that.

Don't rage. Most people probably heard this one before, but it's so important... Only yesterday I had a ranked game where half of my team was raging at each other. This just won't help you at all. Don't rage, and if your team rages try to calm them down. Someone raging in chat isn't paying attention to the game anymore and will play worse. And if you really want to "Report this Lux! OMG", just don't say that until the end of the game. My game yesterday went from a close one to an easy win once my team calmed down.

Dragon Control is important as said before. Be careful however. Sometimes you have to give up that dragon. If the enemy has 5 man on baron, and your have 3 around it without smite, just leave it. In that situation you have almost no chance of getting the dragon and teams often get caught while/after trying to contest a dragon like this. You'll most likely lose a dragon and have some deaths. You can still try stealing it with long range skills, from a safe distance. Lux ult is pretty good at this.

Fall behind, play safe. Another basic one. If you're behind, don't try to fight your lane opponent unless if you have some kind of advantage like Shen ult or a jungle gank. If you're botlane, make sure you tell your lane partner to play passive. It doesn't matter if you miss a bit of cs, just stay back and don't keep dying.
Also don't be mad if your jungler doesn't gank toplane when your opponent is 5/0. At that point (depending which champion it is) you might just get 1v2'd by your enemy. Making sure the other lanes win is priority at that point.
