The Mid-Week Medal Hunt has come once again! This week it is time to get out of the bushes and head for the front line. Lead your team’s charge into the enemy base and earn the Invader achievement. As well as the glory of scoring victory by capturing the enemy base, you will also be rewarded with additional experience. If that’s not an incentive good enough to get your engine running, we have no idea what is!

Earn at least 80 points while capturing the enemy base, and gain 1250 additional experience in addition to your Invader medal!

This one-day, mid-week event to reward our battle heroes will be running from 6th March 06:10 CET (05:10 GMT) until 7th March 06:00 CET (05:00 GMT).

The additional experience points will be directly credited to your account when you win the medal. There is no need to register or take any special action to participate in the event.

Plan your strategy, get to the enemy base and earn your mid-weekly bragging rights!

Yes Infina , I agree with u ,but the ward stuff is after u know how to last hit and when and how to engage , when to dive etc , it's the damage u can output and the % u have to defeat ur enemy.

And well a wise advice is always , always bring 1 or 2 wards as any role , same as potions , they save lifes xD.

A full new branch of British Tank Destroyers, a new Premium Soviet Tank destroyer, new German light tanks, reworked maps… The 8.4 update is not to miss!



British Tank Destroyers

That’s right, a full branch of tank destroyers will be added to the British tech tree. Ten new vehicles will be added, giving you the choice of researching the line from the beginning, or jumping into it halfway from the heavy tank line. Drive mighty vehicles such as the A39 Tortoise and bring devastation to your enemies.

New Premium Soviet Tank Destroyer – SU-100Y

The Soviet tech tree will be getting a newcomer in the form of the powerful SU-100Y tank destroyer. This vehicle is huge and hits hard, and is more than capable of taking on the heaviest vehicles on the battlefield. It will be a premium vehicle.


Three New German Light Tanks

Germany will also be receiving some reinforcements in the form of three new light tanks! Why not take a ride in the Panzer I?. Or take a cruise in the Panzer II Ausf. G and pick off your enemies in style.


Four More Maps Overhauled

Our ongoing process to update all of the maps to the new visual and rendering style continues. This time Steppes, Fisherman’s Bay, Ensk and Live Oak receive the treatment!



New Player Tutorial

We have a treat in store for our newest players. A brand-new tutorial will be added to the game and will cover tank controls, the mechanics of shooting and basic combat tactics.

In order to implement the changes,the game server will be under maintenance on the 6th of March from 04:00 CET (03:00am GMT) to 13:00 CET (12:00 GMT).

Please note that during this time, the other services (portal, forum, support…) can also experience some interruptions.

The Clan Wars will be frozen from the 6th March at 03:15 CET (02:15 GMT) to the 7th March at 03:15 CET (02:15 GMT).



Players with a Premium account during the maintenance will be compensated.

The teams participating in the tournament are not only fighting for the Intel Extreme Masters Champion title, they have also qualified for the huge Wargaming.net League. This means that this time the stakes are higher than ever. The contestants are going to fight for the IEM money prizes worth a total of 10,000 Euros. However, no matter how well they score, as they managed to get to the IEM finals they are also automatically placed into the World of Tanks Pro League. This new League is really something! If the title of the best World of Tanks best team in Europe is not enough for you, there are 2.5 million other reasons why you should join the fight!

This Polish team was the first one to qualify for the League in Europe. They made it through the first CeBIT online qualifier, and have managed to make a name for themselves already, along with other 1SBP teams. This team even managed to beat Evil Panda Squad, who were the big stars of the last Intel Extreme Masters, as well as Lemming Train on their road through the qualifier, so we expect that they will put on a great show in Hanover. Will they manage to beat Lemming Train once again? Don’t miss the show and you’ll know.

That’s good. If you want to join us in Hanover to watch the matches live, we’d advise you to visit the CeBIT official website and get directions straight from the source. Once you’re there, you should look for hall 23, which is dedicated solely to the Intel Extreme Masters. After that, it is just the simple matter of finding the most awesome booth at the IEM!

Fortunately, even if you can’t attend the event in person, there is still hope! You can tune in to our livestream and watch all the matches live as they happen!
