T34

This vehicle is an American Tier VIII heavy tank and is one of the best credit makers in World of Tanks. It has a relatively poorly armored hull, but really thick armour on the turret. The 120 mm T53A1 gun has an amazing elevation and depression and combined with the well armoured turret it is perfect for using hull down tactics. The gun itself has a relatively low reload speed but has very good penetration and delivers crippling amounts of damage with every shot.

Churchill III

This Lend-Lease vehicle is a U.S.S.R. Tier V heavy tank. It features a great combination of good armour and a devastating, fast shooting 6-pound gun. No Tier V tank can stand unshaken when facing the Churchill III, and we hope that when you’ll be able to steer it to victory as well!

This vehicle is a German Tier VIII tank destroyer. IS-6

The IS-6 is a Soviet tier VIII heavy tank. The armour on the tank is relatively thin but it is very well sloped, giving a good defensive capability. The tank is equipped with the 122 mm D-30 gun. This has a relatively low penetration, so you will need to adjust your tactics and aim for enemy weak spots, but the gun is capable of delivering a lot of damage with a good rate of fire.

Löwe

This premium tank is one of the most commonly spotted premium vehicles in game. The Lowe is a German tier VIII heavy tank. It is equipped with a 10.5 cm KwK 46 L/70 gun and is one of the best killing machines on the World of Tanks battlefields. The Lowe is also one of the best credit making tanks in the game and is an essential addition to the garage for every tank collector.

Singed is intended to be incredibly durable and to gradually burn down his opponents in team fights. By making disables more effective against him and reducing his initial burst damage, Singed’s opponents now have more time and ways to deal with him in these situations.

- Damage reduced to 80/125/170/215/260 from 100/150/200/250/300
- Ability Power ratio reduced to 0.75 from 1.0
Insanity Potion
- No longer reduces the duration of disables


Taric

Last patch's changes opened up different playstyles for Taric but did not effectively address his power level. These changes reduce Taric's lane dominance by lowering his burst damage and forcing him to make more tradeoffs when choosing which spells to level up.

Shatter
- Damage reduced to 50/90/130/170/210 from 60/105/150/190/240
- Armor damage ratio reduced to 20% from 30%
Dazzle
- Stun duration adjusted to 1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5/1.6 seconds from 1.5 at all ranks

Locket of the Iron Solari is mainly picked up by junglers and supports, roles that most frequently earn less gold than others, for the team-wide active. We've reduced both the cost and personal stats on the item to lessen its gold impact while preserving its team utility.

Runaan's Hurricane
- Secondary target radius increased to 375 from 300

We've noticed that, in general, champions who buy Iceborn Gauntlet are front-line champions with more emphasis on surviving than dealing AP burst damage. We've adjusted Iceborn Gauntlet's stats to accommodate this play case.

- Armor increased to 70 from 60
- Ability Power reduced to 30 from 40


Ravenous Hydra
- Combine cost reduced to 200 gold from 400 (total cost reduced to 3300 gold from 3500)

- Recipe changed: Stinger + Pickaxe + 725 gold = 2850 gold (total cost unchanged)
- Attack Damage increased to 25 from 20


Warden's Mail

Runes

Continuing our efforts from Patch 3.02 to standardize cooldown reduction, we've slightly buffed Cooldown Reduction runes to provide less awkward stat amounts. For example, nine Tier-3 Scaling Glyphs of Cooldown Reduction previously provided 8.62% cooldown reduction at level 18, but will now provide an even 10%.

- Cooldown Reduction and Cooldown Reduction per Level runes have been increased at all Tiers (varying from 2-35% increase)


Spectator Mode

- Fixed a bug that would cause the spectator client to crash when using chat commands (ex: /joke, /taunt)

Restricted Chat Mode
In an effort to encourage active reform and shield players from toxicity, we’ve implemented a new account restriction that limits in-game chat for toxic players.

Certain players (identified by Tribunal and by Player Support) will have a limited number of in-game messages available and limited access to [All] Chat.
Restricted players that successfully complete matchmade games will earn their chat privileges back.


General

Ready checks no longer return players to the PvP.Net landing page
"Random" has been moved to the top of champion select
Chat notifications in the bottom right-hand corner of the client now wait to appear until players have closed the AFK popup dialogue first
Battle Training bots no longer acquire unavailable items

Mid-Week Medal Hunt: Patrol Duty

Commanders,

As usual, the middle of the week is dedicated to a very important mission. This time your mission is going to be guarding our battlefields by detecting enemies and making it possible for your team to destroy them.

Achieve the Patrol Duty medal, by helping your team damage at least 6 enemy vehicles by detecting them. Each time you obtain this achievement, you will automatically earn a bonus of 2,000 experience points!



From Wednesday 20th March, 06:10 CET (05:10 GMT) until Thursday 21st March, 06:00 CET (05:00 GMT) the Medal Hunt is available for all our players!

The additional experience points will be automatically credited to your account when you win the medal. There is no need to register or take any special action to participate in the event.

Remember, this Medal Hunt event ends on Thursday morning. There is no time for training; you have to get out there and show them that you have what it takes to receive this achievement!

Roll out on the battlefields and show the enemy that you are a real steel team guardian!

 

Maintenance: European Server Goes Multi-Cluster Tomorrow


A maintenance for the game server will be held tomorrow on Wednesday, March 20th starting at 04:00 CET (03:00 GMT) which is expected to last until 07:00 CET (06:00 GMT). During this time the game will be unavailable for play. However, our web portal, the forums and customer support remain unaffected.
World of Tanks is growing all over the world! After having broken yet another record in terms of concurrent player numbers recently on our Russian side, we’re happy to see the trend continue while more and more people take up the fight on our virtual tank battlefields!

Since Europe has been experiencing steady growth as well, with close to 200,000 tankers online concurrently at peak times, we’re proud to announce today that we’ll be expanding the technical capabilities of our European server to allow for an even greater performance. To achieve this, tomorrow we’ll be switching to a system featuring two server clusters that will host our European players and make room for even more new arrivals!

We only want the best for our players and thus are happy to be able to grow alongside our ever increasing fan base. Adding the new server cluster will make playing for you more convenient by providing greater stability whilst offering the capability to serve more players at a given time.

Note: With the introduction of the additional server, all Clan Wars battles will now take place on the first server. If you’re a Clan Wars player, please check that your game starts properly on this first cluster once the second one goes live after tomorrow’s maintenance.
We’re looking forward to a seamless transition tomorrow and are glad to be preparing to welcome more and more of you in the future on our improved EU servers!

Mad Madness returns! If you missed out on last year's tournament, now's your chance to get in on the action today! What's Map Madness? Glad you asked. It's a single-elimination tournament voting bracket to determine your favorite World of Tanks map! 32 maps will go head to head in four rounds and only the maps with the most votes will move on to the next round.

Predicting a Winner
Before the voting begins you'll have a chance to submit which map you think will win against all of the others for a chance to win gold (how much?). Email your submissions to [email protected] with the subject line "Map Madness", your in-game username, and the map you think will win in the final round.

Submit your prediction between 12:00 PDT (15:00 EDT) on March 18th to 23:59 PDT (02:59 EDT on March 19th). Curious what time this is in your region? Use this handy Time Zone Converter to help you out.
