After the intense fighting that took place during the first stage of our Clan Wars Campaign event our Community Coordinator for World of Tanks, Catstalker, caught up with Bryant21 of Clan [RDDT] to deliver some good news. Read the full exchange below!

Good morning, would you like to take a moment to introduce yourself and RDDT?

Sure no problem, I am Bryant21 the Deputy commander of the clan Reddit: The Front Lines of the Internet [RDDT]. I am also one of the moderators of the portal World of Tanks where all 11 Reddit clans make their home

Did RDDT have any specific strategies coming into the start of this campaign?

Teamwork between the "RDDT Family of Clans" was our main strategy. Before this event our main clan RDDT clan would be the sole driving force of clan wars, with our sister clan NARWL providing backup. However, with the introduction of the low tier event, we were able to train all RDDT clans for clan wars to help us out significantly.

So was ending up in Greenland part of the plan, or how did that happen?

Well, unlike most clans who focused on gold value, we realized that Greenland offered the most strategic value to gain victory points and our goal of using all the RDDT clans. Rather than spreading out across the map, we could place RDDT clans across each end of Greenland and slowly expand into each other. Our sister clans were excited to be able to participate in such a direct way.

Of course everybody is aiming for the M60, but did you expect to be in the top 5 so close to the end of the stage?

Oh not at all. Our goal was only to get into the top 10, but then we just kept winning, and taking land, and winning again. It slowly began to dawn on us that our plan worked better than we could have hoped! With our strong sister clans backing us up, we saw it within reach so we went for it!

Based the situation we’ve seen on the forums, it would appear there were some diplomacy issues you ran into. Would you like to comment on that?

Har har. Sure, we had talked with of our neighbor and good ally Enjoy about giving us some extra Victory Points to ensure we reach top five. We had been informed that several clans on mainland USA were planning on giving land away in order to push us out of top five and we wanted to guarantee we made it. We could then focus on getting Enjoy into a higher position in later stages, and everyone would get an M60. We believed that after 10 months of being close allies, giving up three territories would be a no brainier. After hours of intense negotiations, Enjoy decided it would be in their own best interests to keep the land. This was a huge shock to RDDT, and while we could have attacked them in an attempt to take the land by force, we decided to uphold our initial agreement and stood down. In the end, they chose 15,000 Victory Points over 10 months of steadfast camaraderie and hard work. If the roles were reversed, we would have given them the land in a heartbeat. Unfortunately we will not be working with them in the future.

Well, congrats RDDT, you’ve just qualified for the M60 medium tank. What are you going to do next!?

WHAT?! Are you joking?

No, RDDT, OTTER, and PBKAC have all tied for 5th place!

That is amazing! Well, first I think we might eat some cake! But after that, we will look at helping to repay NARWL, hoping to get them into the top 30 clans. Really, we will try and roam the map, helping out clans who need assistance.

Multiple Gold Prizes for Tank Guides 4 - General Discussion - World of Tanks official forum

Hey guys! Hope everyone's well!

It's been a long while since my last guide writing contest, so I'm back with another round.

This time it's better than all previous guide writing contests because I have not only 1 prize but 3 prizes to give! 2 x 2500 gold prizes and a special BONUS code for a Lend-Lease M3 Stuart plus some other mysterious stuff in this code (code and one gold prize supplied by WG, which didn't specify what's included in the code except for the tank - consider it as a mystery prize I guess lol).

Basically, I'm looking for guides to specific tanks from tiers 3-10. 1 gold prize will be given to the writer of the best guide and another gold prize will be given to a random writer of the guides (as produced by RANDOM.ORG - True Random Number Service ), the code prize will be given to a random guide writer for tanks which I really need, which is marked with a little star like * (this is on condition his/her guide is reasonably decent in quality).

As before, all guides of decent quality will be featured on the academy website at SPECIALIST GLOBAL TANK ACADEMY . The readership is good in the academy, so you can bet your guides are read and examined once it's featured.

There is a condition however, and that is I'm only looking for guides to specific tanks. Below is a list of the tank which I need guides for. You may submit guides on any tank written below. If you submit guides for any other tank other than the one's written, your guide will not be considered for the prize. Also note you can write as many guides as you wish, each guide you write is an INDIVIDUAL entry and will be judged separately so the more guides you write the more chance you have at winning the prizes.

Hello to all Commanders!

Welcome to our regional contest

Ok so to the juicy bit :

This competition is about freeing your creative spirit!
What we require of you is to take a image of a map from World of Tanks (using a snipping tool) and create a image from it by connecting the dots,hills, buildings ect ect for example....
Here is one that was submitted from a similar Turkish competition:

So basically in a nutshell, we want you to create whatever you can on the pictures from structures from the maps in game!
When submitting an entry could you submit a picture of the map before and a picture of the map after like the one shown above

Rules:
1 entry per player. Edited entries are allowed.
All entries must be posted within this topic
Closing date for entries is Tuesday, July the 2nd at 12 noon CEST
The image must not violate the game or forum rules and the EULA
The picture should not violate moral, ethic, or legal norm, and should conform to the forum and game rules
No political-related symbols or messages are allowed
There is a 2 week limit for the competition so take your time think about it design and then submit.

Welcome to week 25 of the EN Screenshot Contest. To participate you need to post a screenshot which would fit to the theme:

"Light Tanks"

If they're not tearing it up against fellow tier tanks, they fly across the battlefield like a leaf on the wind, detecting arty for team mates or duelling the enemy scouts in rapid fire encounters! Lets see the best pictures you can come up with that involve light tanks. It could be an action shot, a mid air shot, or a melee of gunfire and explosions! The choices are limited only by your imagination!
As with previous rounds, there is no restrictions on how you get your picture. This can be from Company Battles, Platoons, Random Games, or even the Training Room. There is no tier or weight restrictions.

Please remember the following rules:

• A new thread will be opened on Fri at noon CEST and closed on the following Tues at noon CEST (Or as close to those times as possible). That gives players 5 days to submit their entries.
Week 25 will close on Tuesday June at 25th noon CEST
• Players need to submit 2 entries, one normal picture without the UI, and the exact same picture showing your UI. This is to prove it’s really your tank and the image hasn't been taken from elsewhere on the web or from someone else's account/replay.
• No editing of the picture is allowed. You cannot touch up the image using Photoshop or another similar image editing software.
• MODS ARE ALLOWED - Please note this is an important change. The reason for this change is because the real entry is your screen shot without your UI. The only add-on that may affect this screen shot is going to be the zoom out mod or a skin mod. Things like Reticle mods, team list mods etc don't have an impact on your entry. We don't want to list each and every mod and say yes/no. To help avoid any confusion about this, we have decided to allow mods on people's entries, please remember however the format that your pictures need to be submitted in (detailed above).
• Please note only 1 entry per player. - Entries edited after the deadline will not be counted. That's even if you're just correcting spelling errors.
• The winning entries will be announced in this thread by the following Friday when we start the next theme. The judges will be IPaul72 and Ectar and a third community member. If for any reason one of us are not present, another member of the community team will take our place and they will be announced as a judge.
