    Do you remember our Anniversary Manoeuvres contest? To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Wargaming, we are having a series of month-long contests, each focused on a specific vehicle type. This month it is the turn of Tank Destroyers! Everyone has a chance to win – all you need to do is to get as much experience as you can with any tank destroyer in the game!

    This contest will run between 15th July and 15th August. All entries will be automatically registered by the database when you play a battle with a tank destroyer, so you don’t need to take any action to enter!



    What can you win?

    If you are in the Top 50 places for a vehicle, you will win 3,000

    If you are in the Top 3 for a Tier, you will also win a premium vehicle as follows:


    1st place

    Type 59 + garage slot



    2nd place

    Type 62 + garage slot



    3rd place

    Pz.Kpfw. B2 740 (f) + garage slot





    That’s not all! There is also a Grand Prize of a fifteen year-long Premium Account subscription! (Don’t forget that with the new Unified Premium Account, this means you will have premium account status on all Wargaming titles, including both World of Tanks and World of Warplanes).

    This prize will be awarded as follows:
    One Grand Prize will be awarded each month to the player who enters the Top 3 for the most tiers during that month.
    The winner must have at least one first place for a tier.

    Example: Player Lady_Inquisitor wins 1st place for Tier VII, 2nd place for Tiers VI and X and 3rd place for Tier VIII. As she has Top 3 rankings for four tiers (one of which is a 1st place), more than anyone else, she will win the Grand Prize!
    If two or more players have the same number of Top 3 placings for a month, the winner will be determined with a points system as follows: a 1st place will earn 3 points, a 2nd place will get 2 points and a 3rd place will result in 1 point. The player with the most points will win. If there is still a draw after points have been counted, both players will win.
    If nobody qualifies for the Grand Prize during a month (ie nobody achieves at least two Top 3 scores with at least one first place), then nobody will win for that month.

    Some additional rules:
    Bonuses to experience, such as premium account bonus and first victory bonus will NOT be counted. Just the base experience for the battle is what matters.
    Only results from random battles will be counted. Clan Wars and company battles will not be included.
    All tank destroyers in the game, with the exception of premium vehicles, are included in this month’s contest


    That’s it! Remember that all scores are automatically recorded by the database so you don’t need to do anything to participate! Just play the game and enjoy! Happy 15th Anniversary!

    True, that sound could be recorded and used by WoT developers, not sound of smashing some cans or whatever, they ruined all sound effects in 8.6 along with SPGs.

    Having queried the royal ogres through pm and through this post, it has become clear that a sufficient number of royal ogres favor holding a vote to determine what our color should be.

    Therefore, this thread is for nominations (and in a week or so, a poll) to see what the color will be.

    Current nominations:
    Dark Orchid <-- current royal ogre color

    Nominating criteria:
    Nominations must be legible on both skins. For instance, Aqua, the former royal color, is incredibly hard to read on the classic skin, so it would not be allowed to nominate. DarkRed, Green, White and Black as well as whichever shade of blue (probably just blue, but I can't parse it that well on the light skin) are all out as well, because they are currently in use for other usergroups. For a list of most possible colors, check inside the spoiler.

    When nominating a color, please be sure to type the color name, written in that color. For example, Silver. To make a color show up like that without using the color selector thing, you would type it like this:

    The poll will be an open multiple-choice poll, so that everyone can see which colors the royals have voted for. When we get to the poll, the color with the most royal ogre votes will win. In the case of a tie, it will either be decided on which option got more ogre regular votes or in another open poll, this time with one vote each to hopefully break the tie.

    Now is also the perfect time to discuss particular colors and their merits, so I would encourage that as well.
