Email client that can function like a desktop email client and offline, torrent manager/downloader, cloud backup of the whole browser. Apps (different from extensions) add easy file sharing and can stream your local media anywhere, messenger, photo editor, document sync etc.

Current OS doesn't support Opera so going off memory but their is a lot more. Opera does a ton.

    1. so does google
    2. many of the plugins aren't developed by opera themselves, basically they borrow stuff of other corporations, including microsoft I might add (WMP plugin for example)
    3. yeah lots and lots of memory
    4. I don't want my mail to be offline, and me pressing "connect" like some outlook express lookalike client, I hate that stuff, it makes me feel like I'm 60+ years old

Easy now, just saying Opera has a lot of stuff built in like torrent manager and email client which makes it an internet suite as you don't need any extra programs for basic web stuff.

lol all I'm saying is that it's not that impressive ;)

    also
I'd rather not have a built in torrent manager. It's hell on the browser.

Like I said, I use Chrome, so for all Opera's features I guess I really don't find it all that impressive either lol.

I'd rather not Torrent at all, too many stupid viruses.

viruses is a problem yes, you just have to be weary of the cracks and keep away of those things, because in 99% of the cases it contains a virus.

I personally tend to use torrents for PDF books, MP3 and WAV music

So, apparently FF8 just came out. I'm really not a fan of this "many frequent small updates" thing they have going on here. -_-

It feels like Mozilla is trying to go the way of Chrome, but honestly, the few large updates every year or so were much more convenient than having the program beg me to update practically every time I turn on my computer.

Not sure why they did it but it doesn't look like it's gonna change anytime soon... BTW Firefox 8 released today, Firefox 9 is due out at the end of the year.

I'm still using Chrome. I don't care of the add-ons in FireFox.
