Will Color custom items be possible in aq3d?

You meaning like buying dyes for armor? That wouldn't be a bad idea actually. You could make many new sets with custom dyes.

I am doubtful of this, especially since AQ3D is unlike most other AE games which run on Flash. That isn't to say that it's impossible, as the player can customize the color of his/her skin, eyes, hair, and lips. I would assume that a few things would become color customizable, like glowing eyes of a helm/hood item, but for the most part, I am doubtful about most other items like weapons and armors getting the customization option.

I think it would even be strategic if the AQ3D team did not make items color customizable because of marketing. Imagine a color custom starsword that costs 1,000 DCs, and then imagine a Red Starsword, Blue Starsword, Green Starsword, Purple Starsword, etc. each costing 350 DCs. Of course the items priced at 350 DCs would have a higher potential for the game's market, because the items are cheap, but also plentiful.

 

Probably no since they do the recolors and stuff hahahah.

 

It was good but maybe not for all the stuff.
Only certain stuff that can be custom color.

 

Maybe some helmets will use the hair color for some details but even this dont look likely.

 

Well it could be possible if AE just implements color custom items that you can equip, it shouldn't be that difficult considering that we can change our hair color but i don't see this being a thing, they have been doing quite few recolors already so i will just stick with them.

It's entirely possible, maybe implemented through dyes, or a wheel function, I'd assume the former. However, if they were to add color customization to Adventure Quest 3D, I feel it'd be guardian. I say this because I remember guardians being able to recolor their guardian armor in Adventure Quest Classic.

 

There probably won't be a color customization option for items in AQ3D.. Since they are profiting from selling different colored Dc items separately. For which i don't really blame them.. Its their only way of income since the game is free to play (buy stuff to look good).

I would have to say probably not. It would take too much time, and set the game down the path of AQW. I prefer it as it is. However, If they decided to toss in only a handful of cosmetics that could be recolored, then it could probably work.

 

I wouldn't say it would take too much time. It would be quite resourceful so then the AQ3D team wouldn't have to create thousands of the same items with different colors, but I do doubt it'll happen due to limitations. I would at least prefer seeing minor customization like glowing eyes that are color custom to eyes.
