World of Tanks-chat (small-talk about everything)

I think it has something to do with the number of rounds that hit the center of the aiming circle. Althought the Russians have a larger circle, which is the in game accuracy value, they have a higher tendency to hit dead center. There were a couple treads on this on WoT site NA

I have a Tiger 1 with an awesome crew. That gun is supposed to be super accurate and I miss a substantial number of shots. Now these are shots against stationary targets while I am still. I have lost a number of long range duels against Russian heavies, KV2 couple of times too. Now of course my experience is a tiny sample size.

 

No problem, I can teach you a bit. I will try to pm you in game if I see you. Game is a bit easier sometimes with an ally covering you.

 

Is it me (WG fixing matches so i lose all the time, no i am not being paranoid, its WG witchcraft) or there are lots, and lots of people, on Europe server who saying;
-WTF am i doing here, is this real life, why am i driving tank, i like picking flowers and run around like little girl, i will play this tank just to die and watch the tank burn, i am cold, fire is good for making you warm. Hmmm should i make dinner, oh no i am drowning, i better get out from the river, or i will not have fire to keep me warm in long summer night. Oh i didnt make photo of my self playing this game like monkey, i should do it now, and now and 17632746736458736 more times and post them on FB. How do you play this mage again, oh yeah who do nothing and dies first he wins. I will sit here and die doing nothing in the middle of map.Why dont i have tail, i have IQ of brainless monkey where is my tail so i can chase him all day long. Oh i poop my self again. Where am i again, oh yeah being useless.

Is it just me?

 

I warned you about this xD the better you get at this game, more you'll notice that kind of players, and it doesn't help at all that average player skills get lower and lower non stop. This is actually one of the reasons why I practically don't play WoT for almost a month now, whenever I do play it, I end up feeling angry, and 99% of the times, it's cause of the 14 brainless bots in my team that try to do their absolute worst.

Ok missed this post, so lets answer now.

Me in a KV-1s vs a Tiger 1, range, 20m, him looking the other way, me behind him, aimed dead on center of his fuel tanks behind, my entire aiming circle is on the tank. I fire, the shot misses.

In fact prior to patch 8.6, it was absolutely pointless to take a shot from KV-1s or IS at the range of 300m and higher since all that did was waste a shell most of the times and I only did it when there was no other choice as a last resort. Also, the number of shells from KV-1s, IS, and other russian guns that were able to hit me at long range was pretty much close to 0, so I've seen it from both the shooter and the target point of view and in both, russian guns were awful at long ranges, sometimes even at short ranges too.

Oh and those threads about russian tanks having a bigger chance to hit the middle of aiming circle than others, there's a name for those threads, it's called conspiracy theories and are as true as about 100% of other conspiracy theory threads.

Since 8.6, every gun is accurate, since now most of the shells on all guns, russian or not, go to the middle of aiming circle, and that gives russians the edge cause their weakness was supposed to be lack of accuracy and that weakness is now gone. This is a fact, not am unproven theory.

Oh and, KV2 is a special case, cause even prior to 8.6 it was good at long range engagements despite having the most inaccurate tank gun in the game. How does that make sense? Plain and simple, it was not a tank, it was a direct firing arty, and once you fire a 950 damage dealing HE grenade, you don't even have to hit your target, all you have to do is hit near it, ideally straight under it and the splash damage would do the trick. I've got so many kills exactly like that and it was something no other tank except perhaps E100 could do

 

Lol...but I still have my obligatory complete crazy miss every 4th or so shell. I think it also varies from round to round. Sometimes I cant hit a darn thing and other times I blast the reds to pieces. Last night, my M4 derp had amazing bits, and my M48 kept missing at about 100 m.

 

That's pretty much down to your own luck, which is what every game that relies on random eventually boils down to. It's unfair, but nothing we can do about it

 

Very true. Even the random teams are fun. Never know who will be on your team.

Sometimes it is really fun getting those one or two guys who know what to do and you can have such a fun game.

 

Well you can always know for sure that at a minimum, 10 guys on your team are those guys that are lucky that they're not directly in control of their own's body breathing, cause if they were, they would be dead. Other 4 are a lottery, sometimes you get someone good, sometimes it's one more of lucky-to-be-alive morons.

And yeah, games with good players on your team are the best games, but you can hardly get any of those without platooning

Arty is now ruined and no one play it, just some curious players and few hard core players.

 

Yeah, i have never liked arty. I also have never played it, not one game thank you very much....

 

Low tiers are played still, but higher tiers you have artillery in one of 5 battles, or so, because you lose money. And artillery is help from above, not to say hand of God that punch you in the face if you are not in good position. XD

Ha ha ha ha ha ha this is what our professor said to us on one of our first lectures in our middle school from him (something like that). XD

 

Perhaps, but what I said is still correct, unfortunately. Playing WoT has seriously made me lose faith in humanity
